10. "I Don't Care" by Fall Out Boy - for the longest time I resisted loving anything from Fall Out Boy, but the second I heard the guitar I couldn't help but admit that they are fantastically catchy.

9.  "Let There Be Rock" by AC/DC - So, I probably do more air guitar and headbanging than legit "dancing"...but who says that can't count?  It's a great song and just good for moving around to.

8. "Cool for Cats" by Squeeze - You just can't beat how funky it is.

7. "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse - It's Muse.  And the song is, in simplest terms, sexy as hell.  I'd love to dance to it.

6. "Burnin’ Up" by Jonas Brothers - I have to admit I've got a huuuuge soft spot for the JoBros.  If you can't tell by now, I'm a sucker for catchy music.

5. "Apply Some Pressure" by Maximo Park - Again, not a song that you could dance to like most people do these days, but if you can dance anything like Paul Smith, you're set.

4. "See You Again" by Miley Cyrus - I really have nothing to say...I'm slightly ashamed that I couldn't refrain from mentioning this.

3. "Deadwood" by Dirty Pretty Things - A good head bouncing song.  Upbeat and lively, even though the lyrics are a bit of a downer.

2. "Down In the Past" by Mando Diao - A great, smooth song, perfect for dancing.

1. "Dance With Somebody" by Mando Diao - Heehee.  Perhaps it's a bit corny, but I implore you to listen to it.

Hi Molly, great list. Can't say we see completely eye to eye on what's danceable, but I like many of your picks. I do like the FalloutBoy tune. And thanks for the reminder of Squeeze. OMG did I love them back in the day. I actually met them at a bookstore in Boston. Melt. Swoon. All that fan stuff...

I love AC/DC too. I think, tho, I'd pick "Back in Black" as my dance song.

How about Gwen Stefani's Hollaback?

Welcome to HP. Thanks for sharing your music with us!

lol, the first time I heard Cool for Cats I thought it had come out recently...I was so shocked when my dad told me that Squeeze was from a while ago! Needless to say, it got me into them pretty quickly.

And I do like Gwen Stefani, she's just not someone that comes to mind when I think of dancing songs. My taste in it is totally odd, though, I know. ;]

Thanks for reading this! And the welcome to HP!

Great list!!! Though, some of your video's didn't play. Don't know if it's an issue with my computer or not.

Thanks!! And I might have picked bad links...my volume's all the way down and I didn't really bother to see if they worked. xD
