Dancing with the stars is getting ready for its 9^th Season and the stars for this season have just been announced.  This should be a very interesting season with a very diverse selection of celebrities.  From young and old, actors, politicians and singers, there is bound to be something for everyone.

AARON CARTER

Aaron Carterwasborn December 7, 1987in TampaFlorida. Carter is best known as a singer and the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.  The Carter family seems like a train wreck to me but hopefully Aaron has his stuff together and surprises me.

NATALIE COUGHLIN

Natalie Coughlin was born August 23, 1982 in Vallejo, California. Coughlin is best known as an Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer with her specialty being backstroke and freestyle.

MARK DACASCOS

Mark Dacascos was born February 26, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dacascos is best known as an actor, martial artist and the host of Iron Chef America. With a martial arts background he should be a good addition to the cast.

TOM DELAY

Tom DeLay was born April 8, 1947 in Laredo, Texas. DeLay is a former member of the United States House of Representatives from Sugar Land, Texas and former House Majority Leader. This is the biggest shock to me; it should be interesting watching a politician make his moves.

MACY GRAY

Macy Gray was born September 6, 1967 in Canton, Ohio. Gray is best known as an R&B Singer. I like Macy Gray as a singer she is quite the character, I am not sure how I feel about her as a dancer but it should be interesting to watch.

ASHLEY HAMILTON

Ashley Hamilton was born September 30, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. Hamilton is best known as an actor, comedian and the son of George Hamilton.

MELISSA JOAN HART

Melissa Joan Hart was born April 16, 1976 in Smithtown, New York. Hart is best known as an actress and for her title role on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

KATHY IRELAND

Kathy Ireland was born March 20, 1963 in Glendale, California. Ireland is best known as a Supermodel.

MICHAEL IRVIN

Michael Irvin was born March 5, 1966 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Irvin is best known as a former NFL Player for the Dallas Cowboys.  Watching football (or ex-football) players dance is always a treat for me because either they are surprising bad or incredibly good.

JOANNA KRUPA

Joanna Krupa was born April 23, 1979 in (1979-04-23)Warsaw, Poland. Krupa is best known as a model.

CHUCK LIDDELL

Chuck Liddell was born December 17, 1969 in Santa Barbara, California. Liddell was best known as a Mixed Martial Artist.

DEBI MAZAR

Debi Mazar was born August 15, 1964 in Queens, New York. Mazar is best known as an actress. I am a Debi Mazar fan so I will enjoy watching her.

MYA

Mya was born October 10, 1979 in WashingtonDC. Mya is best known as an R&B Singer, actress, dancer and choreographer. Not sure if Mya is really a fair choice since she is already a dancer and choreographer seems a bit unfair to the rest.

KELLY OSBOURNE

Kelly Osbourne was born October 27, 1984 in London, England. Osbourne is best known as a reality star, singer and daughter of Ozzy Osbourne.  After watching the Osbourne’s reality show I am not sure how she will transition to the dance floor could be interesting to watch.

DONNY OSMOND

Donny Osmond was born December 9, 1957 in Ogden, Utah. Osmond is best known as a singer, actor and entertainer.

LOUIE VITO

Louie Vito was born March 20, 1988 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Vito is best known as a professional snowboarder.
