Dangers of Hoodia
57Hoodia gordonii is a cactus plant growing in Kalahari desert. There are number of places over the world where Hoodia but only the hoodia gordonii from South Africa suppresses appetite.
There are NO DANGERS about taking Hoodia pills or liquid hoodia BUT it must be 100% pure Hoodia gordoni.
When people know that hoodia has so amazing effect, demand on hoodia pills increased in hundreds of thimes. But one hoodia plant need to grow about five years to been planted. Limited supplies and a very high demand makes most of companies take an advantage of dieters and sell fake or inferior diet pills. Those pills could be dangerous - depending on what crap they stuff in their products. Do your own research before buying.
Also I should warn about side effects which are common to all of dietary supplements: "Not to be used in childhood, pregnancy or lactating females who are breast feeding. Not to be used by individuals with eating disorders or those who are underweight or within a normal weight range. Allergic reactions may occur, as with all plant material. Reduced calorie intake can affect the control of diabetes mellitus. In cases of doubt, check with a medical practitioner prior to use."
