Dannielynn: Anna Nicole's daughter

Ever since Anna Nicole Smith confirmed that she was pregnant on June 1st, 2006, rumors have been swirling as to who the father might be. As of the latest count, young Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern has a total of six possible fathers. Let’s check them out:

Howard K. Stern – (pictured) He seems to be the top contender here and is listed on the Bahamian birth certificate as the baby’s father. He appeared on CNN the same day and told Larry King that he was indeed the father of Dannielynn. After Smith’s death in February of 2007, Stern gained custody of the baby.

Larry Birkhead – Second out of the door to claim paternity, the celebrity photographer also has the support of Anna Nicole’s mother, Virgie Arthur.

The Late J. Howard Marshall – That’s right! Even the deceased are claiming to have father the child. Well, sort of. According to the New York Daily News, Anna Nicole’s sister Donna Hogan wrote in an unpublished manuscript that Anna had hinted at using Marshall’s frozen sperm to impregnate herself. However, the book’s publicist denies the existence of said claim.

Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt – Husband to legendary actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, Anhalt claims to have had a decade long affair with Smith and that he could possibly be the father. Read more about him right here.

Alexander Denk – Denk, a former bodyguard - who also said that he had an affair with the former playmate - has come forward with claims that he could have fathered the child.

Mark Hatten – Hatten lived with Smith for two years and then stalked her for a while more, before being sent to prison. He claims to have given Smith a frozen sperm sample that he believes she may have used.

“Wow” is all I can say. This is gone beyond ridiculous. The paternity controversy has gotten so out of hand that it’s spawned off internet parodies, such as this fake commercial.
