We All Have An Archangel
I'm sure our personal beliefs make us all aware of the four, main Archangels, Uriel, defender of the Element of Earth and the North; Raphael, defender of the Element of Air and the East; Michael, defender of the Element of Fire and the South; and Gabriel, defender of the Element of Water and the East. However, there are fifteen Archangels in all and each have their own qualities. They also have colours and gemstones attributed to them, and a place in our lives. Although I'm an Air Sign, my actual direction is West, or South West, my Season is Autumn, and my Archangel is Gabriel. Qualities, Colours and Gemstones of Archangels
Ariel
Ariel, otherwise known as the Lion of God, counsels your fears and helps build the qualities of bravery, courage and focus with elegance. He will help boost your confidence and being involved with divine magick and miracles, help with manifestations, for he is the Master Manifestor. He aids teachers, healers and service workers, protects the environment and heals animals. He is indeed, the Patron Angel of Animals.
The Colour Associated with Ariel is Pale Pink.
The Gemstone Associated with Ariel is the Rose Quartz
Azrael
Azrael, Angel of Death, but is depicted more as the Angel of Everlasting Life. He brings comfort and love to those who are grieving or dying and also messages from loved ones in heaven helping them to make contact. Azrael is the Patron Saint of the Clergy. The gemstone Calcite, with its creamy yellow is calibrated to Azrael's energy, so holding or wearing this gemstone in times of grief or fading life, may bring additional comfort. Those who have shared an encounter with Azrael describe him as dark, very quiet, and not at all menacing.
The Colour Associated with Azrael is Vanilla Cream.
The Gemstone Associated with Azrael is the Yellow Calcite.
Chamuel
Chamuel, He Who Sees God, helps us to see clearly and find things, situations and people. Renowned for help in finding the best career, Chamuel is The Angel Divine Love, both personal and global, and The Patron Angel of All Who Love God. In Druid mythology, Chamuel was originally the God of War. A gatekeeper of Heaven, Chamuel has charge over twelve-thousand fiery Angels of Destruction, all posted there with him at the portals of the sky and thus became known as Chief of the Angels of Destruction.

The Gemstone Associated with Chamuel is Fluorite.
Gabriel
Gabriel, Messenger Angel, loves to coach and help with writing, and being able to open doors for publication, will help in the enjoyment of writing. Gabriel helps to find strength and connect with personal power, and reassures that it is safe to be powerful. He works with mothers and children and helps us to connect with our inner child and play. Gabriel is the Angel of Mercy and the Patron Angel of all who work in the field of communications. Gabriel brings the gift of Hope to keep alive in your heart. He is the Governor of Eden, the ruler of the Cherubim, the Angel of the Resurrection and the Angel of Mercy. The poet Longfellow, in his ‘The Golden Legend’, makes Gabriel the angel of the moon who brings man the gift of hope. Gabriel is the Defender of the Element of Water and of the West, the Angel of Resurrection, Mercy and Peach and the Benefactor of Messengers.

Haniel
Haniel, Glory of God, helps to connect with divine magic and powerful cycles of the moon. He helps to groom hidden talents and find true passions; to appreciate ourselves and build self-worth honouring our cycles and moods, strengths and shadows.

The Gemstone Associated with Haniel is Moonstone.
Jeremial
Jeremial, Mercy of God, answered prayers, change - everything is happening for a reason. All is well. Helps to review life and take stock of where you have been. Helps us to heal patterns that are no longer working. Helps us to be merciful to our self and others. Jeremial helps newly crossed-over souls, as well as those still living, to review their lives. Call upon Jeremial if you wish to take and inventory of your life in order to make positive adjustments.
The Colour Associated with Jeremial is Egg Plant Purple.
The Gemstone Associated with Jeremial is Amethyst.
Jophiel
Jophiel, Beauty of God, helps to clear both mental physical clutter and negative thinking, clearing energy. He helps us to stay in Higher Self focus of bliss, love and joy, and encourages us to spend time in nature, experiencing more grace and peace in life. The Patron Angel of Artists, Jophiel helps us to think beautiful thoughts, thus creating, manifesting and attracting more beauty into our lives.
The Colour Associated with Jophiel is Deep Rose or Magenta Pink.
The Gemstone Associated with Jophiel is Rubelite or Deep Pint Tourmaline.
Metatron
Metatron, Angel of Sacred Geometry and Numerology, (Kabbalah), helps to clear and open our chakras, cleansing psychic toxins from our bodies. He works with sensitive children, indigos and crystals and helps to organize schedules, making time for activities which are close to our heart. He is a fiery, energetic Angel who has a special place in his heart for those children who are spiritually gifted. Metratron led the Children of Israel through the wilderness to safety and continues to lead children today both on Earth and in Heaven.

Michael
Michael, He who is like God, protects and leads away lower energies in our space. He works with us while we sleep and enters our dreams to allay fears. Michael helps with the qualities of love, power, strength and unwavering faith. He gives guidance and direction for those stuck or lost in the purpose of their life career path. Michael is the Defender of the Element of Fire and of the South, the Leader of the Archangels, he and the Angel of Protection, Justice & Strength.
The Colour Associated with Michael is Royal Blue and tinges of Purple.
The Gemstone Associated with Michael is Sugilite.
Raguel
Raguel, Friend of God, Clairsentience, helps to distinguish between our own feelings and those of others. He guides us towards situations, people and places that have clear and loving energy and guides us to act fairly and find win-win solutions. Raguel helps to maintain harmony and order in relationships and acts as mediator, helping us to find creative solutions. His chief role in Heaven is to oversee all the other archangels and angels, ensuring that they all work together in a harmonious and orderly fashion, according to Divine order and will.

Raphael
Raphael, Heavens Physician, gives guidance for a healthier lifestyle, helping with anything requiring healing, relief from burdens, and Divine guidance through intuition, thoughts, ideas & dreams. Raphael is the Defender of the Element of Air and the East and is the Angel of Love, Joy and Laughter, Custodian of The Tree of Life and of Healing Powers.

Raziel
Raziel, Secret of God, knows all the secrets of the Universe and how it operates. Zadkiel
Zadkiel, Mercy of God, helps with compassion and forgiveness. He helps to release emotional toxins and aids Clairaudience through the Brow Chakra. Zadkiel helps with memory and memorizing. He helps us let go of judgements and unforgiveness. If you’re finding it difficult to forgive yourself or somebody else, call Zadkiel to intervene.

Oh? Then pray tell me, Angellis, when you are going to write, do you write from experience of the battle of the dark ages, or do you rely on gaining knowledge from other sources? Do you update it, rather than leave it as it was in history, because I feel that would take away from the reality of it? When I wrote this hub, it took me approximately 71/2 hours because yes, I read up on the sources available to me, and then pooled my knowledge to write my own publication. There was no other way for me to do it, having never had the pleasure of meeting an archangel, thus having no idea how I could write from experience. The fact of the matter is... the work is not copied. Had I copied and pasted, which indeed you are allowed to do in here, I would have credited the source, but in all honesty, I would rather write it myself and learn as I go along. It took me about 3 hours to actually write it from what I had accumulated in knowledge, as I'm sure those who read and appreciate my style of writing will recognise.

Yes, it seems I'm doing the rounds on a few of your hubs today. For somebody like me with some knowledge of the archangels, this was still a very informative hub. I will say that I'm a bit surprised at the first comment...as an introduction to this topic, this is a great primer and I learned a great deal. It's obvious you spent considerable time compiling your data. I've had a very special place for Michael for several years...I served with the Canadian Airborne Regiment for 3 years years and He is considered the patron saint of paratroopers...seriously. We actually set aside one day each year in June called St. Michael's Day where we had sporting events and a huge BBQ, while the padre would deliver a message about the greatest general of all time and how he threw back the forces of dark as they were storming heaven. A very reliable source informed me a short time ago that Metatron was standing guard over my little goddaughter, who I know is a very gifted baby...I actually volunteered to be her godfather, which is something I have never even considered before but it was a very strong urge to do that...her mother was one of my tenants and I really didn't know her that well when I offered so I know the "urge" did not orignate within me. You'll likely chuckle but I seriously believe that Uriel is actually the same entity as the Egyptian god Thoth. I have had some personal experiences with a few of these archangels while journeying but I seldom say anything to others...very few would believe me. More wierdness...some years ago a friend sent me a care package with a number of magick-related items, including a sphere of green flourite, which she said would assist with shamanic journeying. During the last several months, I've found my learning and mindset being aimed in a very specific direction...I would like to use my fledgling but growing abilities as a medium to help find lost and missing people. I did a double take when I read about Chamuel and his association with florite. Extremely fascinating, to say the least. This hub has given me much food for thought, as do all of yours that I read. What's interesting for me is that, while this would still have been fascinating 6 months ago, it wouldn't have had the same impact as reading it today. I moved very recently and know that it was essential for the next phase of learning and growth. The information in this hub is definitely part of it. You need to find out first what type of birth sign you have, i.e. air, fire, earth, water. That will depict your direction, and your archangel can be gleaned from your direction. However, some air signs, such as mine, Libra, are born in Autumn, which gives me the westerly direction, so it can become quite complex.
Maybe, initially, it would be best for you to type in the search engine, "Archangel related to (Libra)" or whatever your sign is. Search through more than one though, to find one that has ALL the information, including direction, season, etc. It's very interesting!

There is no new truth - its all available to us at all times if we know how to ask and where to find it. As long as it is shared, truth will be ever vibrant, vital, and illuminating. Thank you.
Each day in my meditation or throughout the day - in need of support - I invoke all fifteen angels. However I find through dowsing, that who is actually walking with me changes. Today, when I found your site, I was 'googling' Archangel Jeremial because that was the name I got when asking who was present with a friend of mine during a very important meeting today.
Today, Archangel Azriel and Archangel Metatron are my guides. Curious as to what they were here for, I find on your site, that Azriel is about communicating through the veil of death and Metatron, clearing the chakras.
That 'tracks' because during the past several weeks, I have been having very clear awareness of my beloved husband's presence (he passed 2 1/2 years ago). And, lately I have been doing very focussed chakra work as I am writing about the drawing in of love and how it is expressed through each chakra.
I think we can consciously call in the angel we need for specifics, but if we are in intention to walk with the angels as a way of life, they will come to us as we require - whether our invitation is conscious or not.
