When I first heard of such a man as Barack Hussein Obama running for president, just by his name alone I had to check him out. I wanted to see this african american man and all his audacity to run for president. Was his intelligent? Is he honest? Does he have our best interest at heart? I Where does he stand on important policies? Will he care for all Americans?

There were so many questions and so much fear mixed with pride that someone was so driven and confident in their mission to become president. Fear from the threats and harm that will come if Obama is president and the fears that always affected our country. The same hate that kept so many stagnate in life for generations.

When I took a closer look and followed the news and researched his history, I felt as though we may have something very special here. Something special for the health and glory of the United States. Something special enough to mend years of hurt, pain, and embarrassment from our ancestors, past governments, and inferior and superior mindsets.

This bi-racial man with intelligence, heart, and wisdom is in the right place at the right time. There will be no stopping this incredible change from happening. Barack Obama is the one for the job. This is proven by his historical election to office, by the record breaking support.

Barack Obama has been tested the whole time and stayed presidential. He is not perfect, no one is. But he is honestly in love with this country and I believe him. So do millions of others. Why would anyone that is a minority fight so hard for the presidency when they know their very life will be in danger? Why would they do that to their family? It's because the cause is bigger than himself and theirs.

I believe we all are family and that a true leader is helpless like a parent to sit idolly by and do nothing while the world laughs at us and our United States is so divided. God bless that family and the task at hand.

The glass ceiling is now broken for all. All people now see new possibilities. Children now believe their parents and teachers promises of the future despite current situations. The world will respect Americans now that they believe we value all of our people.

As a true imperfect role model, he has demonstrated that all things are possible, if we work hard and diligent and never give up. Just imagine what you can do when you put your mind to it. I'm sure many wonderful things will be going on in our wonderful United States of America and around the world. He is the mouth piece to what many are thinking. Now become great everyone, it's in you, me, in us! We are America!
