Darling of the Dead
62
I dedicate my poem to my favorite Swedish band Darling of the Dead.
Call of the Night
Cannon fire
desire
angels with a glint in their eye
break beat into laughter.
Mandrake, man, medeval love juice,
swirling in feverish lust
desire, fever, desire,
shimmering in the dark.
Tribal beat, heart beat,
Call of the otherworldly womb
Children of the night arise out of their tomb
gather round C.C. beach
to howl at the moon.
AwOooooooooo
Keyboard icy synth waters cascade over me
hypnotic bone chill
beacons me
fuels fire vampire
desire feeds desire.
Tango broken at midnight
<<<Metamorphosis>>>
into Swedish pow wow.
Tis not a dance
I bet you tell that to
alla flickor
all the girls.
AwOoooooooooo
Trance Master or Shaman
This Swedish band is the modern day shaman whose work is mostly instrumental in the genre industrial and trance. Darling of the Dead carefully weaves four elements into their music: tribal beat represents fire, the keyboard reresents icy water, the vocal represent air and the supporting beat represents earth.
In their own words Kallisti Gold is a discordian record label that focuses on experimental and dark industrial music. Darling of the Dead provides a very charismatic techno embroiled drama that builds into a frenzy. Other bands include Inimikal which is considered industrial or noise genre is beautiful in its enigmatic poetry. Alexis Erisian's "Abolition of Pain" explores the compostion in the vein of Coil.

You can listen and embed their playlist. Great music from Darling of the Dead "Deranged Lone Assasin" album also music from Inimikal, and Alexis Erisian. You can also link your music site to this site. - Kallisiti Gold
Enjoy Swedish music that ranges from trance, industrial and experimental genres.
Navaho shamen often perform curing cerominies "called sings" in order to improve the well being of their patient by beating drums and administering medicine that consists of herbs and animal parts such as mountainlion gall. "An Evening with Fludder" has noticeable tribal beats that have the ability to experience total recall. It reminded me of when the Matachins strolled through the streets of Laredo.
Taoist magicians revere the mystical power of the word and charms are written in ink. The client takes the charm home and dissolves the ink in water then drinks it. Darling of the Dead dissloves the vocals via vocoding sythesizer technology to the point that the vocals are subliminal. Listening to the music "Door into Summer" is an upbeat piece with a hidden message. The vocals suggest heartbreak but it is not the main message. The main theme is how magical it feels to be alive.

You never cease to intrigue me, Raven. The way you describe paranormal stuff. Are you in a cult of some sort?

Your poetry is evocative as are the photos you choose - and both take on new meaning after listening to the music. Thank you for a mystical interlude, Raven King.
