Shut down your computer if it is not in use. If you start to hear a grinding, squealing or clicking sound getting out of your hard drive it is more often than not a sign that it starts to fail. You will have much better chance if you take that drive to the specialist and get it repaired. There are many data recovery companies that will recover lost data from your hard drive.

There are data recovery programs that help you retrieve lost data but they don’t guarantee that your information will be recovered. Professional data recovery services will almost always recover lost data. It may cost you much more than by using software program but the results will be much more appreciated.
