Let’s recap- we’re adults, we’re generally looking for someone to spend (if not) the rest of our lives with, at least someone to hang out with for a prolonged period of time. Gentlemen, I offer you advice now on how to get the girl.

Rule number 1: please for the love of God, no obscene hand gestures. At least at the first meeting. Unless we initiate this first. Some of us are Tom boys and do know how to play your games.

Rule number 2: FOCUS- we have eyes. Look at them, good idea to make a point that you are looking at them. So compliment them. Just make sure you pay enough attention to be able to tell us what color they are; should we ask.

Rule number 3: we don’t want to hear about your ex-girlfriends. In our happy world, we are the first, only and last women you will ever desire. Please stroke the ego- so we will stroke yours back.

Rule number 4: Be honest. We love honesty. We’re women; we are crazy, basket cases who can spot a liar from the word “go”. Exaggerations and ego-boosts are not needed. In the end I promise we WILL like you for you.

And the last and biggest rule of all:

Rule number 5: be yourself. Again, we will like you for you. We’re too busy being critical of our hair, wardrobe, and even if you like us. Rather than over analyzing how good you think you can dance, or pretend to know what is going on with Sex in the City
