Tips That Actually Work

My Grandfather once told me; “Kid if you ever want to get laid you’re going to have to learn how to dance”. No words that you will ever learn about dating are more true…women Love to dance.

Tip 1: Learn to Dance! You don’t have to learn how to bump and grind like the kids in the Night Clubs, but it wouldn’t hurt if you are of that generation. Learning any type of dancing is easy and lessons are reasonably priced in pretty much any town larger than a water stop. If Country and Western is your style, you’re in luck. Most notable C&W dance clubs also give lessons. I suggest you take them…it’s a great place to meet members of the opposite gender, and it’s a lot of Fun. Line dancing is very popular in C&W dancing so make sure you get a few lessons. I also recommend the Two Step, Box Waltz, Modern Waltz, and Jitterbug.

My personal favorite is Ballroom dancing. Learn the Jitter-bug, Foxtrot, and the Waltz. A little Latin dancing also goes a long way especially if you live in Europe or the Americas.

Once you get your twinkle toes educated in the finer steps of dancing, test out the new shoes.

A.The best way to get a dance is to find a woman that is staring at the dance floor bobbing and weaving.

B.Do a little recon. Make sure she’s not dating the 300lb jealous wrestler at the door.

C.Make sure she isn’t with a “ladies night out” lot. Most women in groups are otherwise attached. This is not to say that they are not looking, it is to say that it is easier to be judged by the lone wolves, than by the committees.

D. If the girl you're after is in a group, here is a few tips to get her on the floor. Get a dance first. There are always women in the room looking for a dance. Remember, this is only dancing so don’t be afraid to ask someone you would not normally approach for a dance. Getting on the floor to show the world you can dance is the key here. Once out there, don’t show off. Just dance, and don’t step on her toes if you can avoid it. Roughly 70% of men do not like to dance; just being out there puts you in front of the pack. Once the dance is over, thank your partner, and bow. Be a gentleman! I assure you, you are being watched so perform. You don’t have to genuflect, just bend at the waist a bit and hold your right hand across your chest. This is also a good way to part amicably if you don’t want another dance with this partner.

E. Once you have completed your dance, glance over to the woman that you are interested in. If she is interested, she’ll let you know. Watch the eyes and the smile, women who are interested in a man always give those little hints that say “Come talk to me”. If she isn’t she’ll look away, and make a joke or something to her girls. In this case, don’t waste your time. But if she is, she’ll hold your look for a moment and offer a smile. If this happens, you’re in like flint, go say hello and try not to trip over your feet on the way there.

Dating can often be a Campaign, plan accordingly

Tip 2: Be yourself. Most women worth dating can sniff out a phony a mile away. If you’re just a fella working in a video store than say you are. Don’t embellish, you’ll get caught.

Tip 3: Be clean. You don’t have to spend a thousand dollars on Armani, but you do have to have matching socks, clean teeth, and a clean shirt. Shave that face, and trim the beard if you have one.

Tip 4: Work on your conversation. Get hip on current events and form thought out and educated opinions. Don’t be a Zealot or self centered in your opinions, nothing can turn a girl off faster than being preached at. Always engage your date in the conversation, ask her about her work, family etc.

Tip 5: Learn to cook, most women love a man that knows his way around the kitchen. Don’t be satisfied with the instructions on the box, or in a book either. Experiment, even if it turns to crap, you can always order out, it’s all about the art, and if you do tank the meal, you’ll have something to laugh about.

Tip 6: Don’t let your date get drunk if you can avoid it. If things heat up, you want her to be fully aware of the moment, and ALWAYS remember No, means NO. Never force your date…EVER. No man that is a man has ever forced a woman to have sex.

Tip 7: Always be a gentleman. Open the door for your lady, and make her feel special. Look into her eyes when you speak to her, she’s a human being and wants to be acknowledged as such. Tell her how attractive she is and be sincere, don’t just flatter to get laid; mean what you say or don’t say it at all. If she’s not your cup of tea, than you probably should have thought out your date a little better. If the date isn’t what you expected, don’t be afraid to end it early. Explain things as they are, in these cases it is far better to be a little cruel than to be overly kind and drag something on that makes you and probably her uncomfortable. Remember, if it isn’t good for you, it probably isn’t good for her either.

Tip 8: This is the most important tip of all. Have Fun, don’t concern yourself with later. Live in the moment and enjoy your evening, having fun is contagious.

Oh my gosh this priceless. So did you interview a hundred women to come up with this list? You forgot poetry though. Learn to write poetry; nothing makes a girls toes curl like poetry. Oh... is that just me? Maybe that's just me.... never mind.

Dont worry girls(Randy, CandyV, Foetunerep) I read it too. Now you are gonna get it, Tx Robert. LOL

Its just common sense, and yet we still choose to neglect it in our everyday lives.

Wow I agree with all of these. I would love to learn to tango, you know and have a rose stem between my teeth, I think the tango is so sexy, so steamy. Also men when you are on the dance floor do not grope the girl. I get really cheesed off with guys who ask me to dance, then they are all over you in seconds, I get so mad, I feel like saying "You asked me to dance not have sex with you."

Next hub can be a list of the men who want to try this new advice out ROFL, me and Candie will flop a coin. Where I live there is little, plus Aussie men need lessons in treating women.Honestly.

It's all about the teacher, and the mentality of the student. If a man wishes to be be a "A Good Man" he will learn what is expected of him, and make it his business to perform in a manor befitting a gentleman...ie opening doors for a lady, tipping his hat if he has one, or respecting women as equals while still understanding that Women more often than not wish to be treated like a lady.

It is true..treat me like a lady in public and I'd make you glad you did in private!!!

I need to go to the bank!! Maybe today I'll branch out and go to the grocery store. I've met some sexy men in the coffee aisle.. in the fresh beans section.. "..so.. what coffee are you fond of??..."

8 o'clock home ground and a bit of cinnamon and chocolate. The wife and I are coffee freaks, but think Starbucks is over rated. I think you need to find a larger metropolis Candie, but hey, often times happiness is right in front of you. Think outside the.um...you know?

Great hub. Great advice. And with Randy's comment, even if its not great poetry, if it is for her, she will feel special.

Two thumbs up my man!
