Dating site profile tips
Statistics show profiles with pictures get by far more views than profiles without pictures. This is very true. When I was in the dating scene, the profiles with picture were the ones I looked at first. Often times, I did not even look at profiles without pictures. When posting pictures on your profile, use current pictures. No one wants to know what you looked like 10 years ago. Most of us age a bit every year. I for one, hate when I see pictures that are obviously old. Face it people, we all get old and some of us are not and attractive as we once were. You might as well be honest as use current pictures, if you plan on meeting someone in person. Using old, more attractive pictures, will lead to disappointment.
Next use as many pictures as allowed by the site you are using. The more the better. Use candid shots, use the ones that make your friends laugh. Ask friends or family to help pick out ones to use. Glamor shots and boobie pictures attract the wrong types of people.
Fill out all of the profile questions, and describe yourself in great detail. Most sites allow unlimited amount of space to type your description. Use as much as you need, but be honest.

If the site has a spot for blogging, use it. People like to read blogs. Again, most sites have unlimited amount of space for blogging, so use as much as you want. Take advantage of the space.

Be very careful when meeting people for the first time. Never have someone meet at your home for the first meeting. If they turn out to be psycho, you are stuck with then knowing where you live. Always meet at a coffee shop or cafe for the first time. Maybe even 2 or 3 dates before inviting them to your home. I'm not going to lie to you, the internet is filled with strange and undesirable people. Trust your instincts, and be smart. I don't want anyone to get hurt or worse from internet dating.

If you plan on sleeping with someone you met on the internet, use condoms. You have no idea who they have been with. Did you know one in every five adults in the United States has Hepres? If you plan on a long term relationship with this person, got together and get tested for STI's. You yourself could be carrying something and not even know it. Surprised? It's true. Some STI's have no symptoms. Others, may not show symptoms for months or even years.
According to the CDC.gov (centers for disease control) most sexually active people has had, or does have HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). There are about 40 types of this virus, including one that causes genital warts and cervical cancer. Often times the HPV will just die off, without ever showing a symptom.
