David Archuleta on His Way to Becoming the Next American Idol

17 year old David Archuleta has been a favorite of mine since the beginning of the show this season. He has proven he has the talent and is willing to do what it takes to get to the top.

Even more impressive is his humility and kind hearted character. I believe that is refreshing and a reason David Archuleta has developed such a following. Of course his looks have the teenage girls going crazy so I imagine he is going to be the next teenage heartthrob!

I am predicting that David will win American Idol, but if for some slim chance he doesn't, you can bet he will be contacted within the hour of the close of the show with an offer for a record deal. I bet there are several companies standing by. The amount of voters this season (51 million for the last show alone) tells record producers this is the type of person they want to hear music from. David Archuleta would be a gold mine for whoever snags him. I only hope there is someone he can trust that is handling these things for him considering his age.
