Dealing With Breaking Up And Coming Out Better
60Why do we need to be dealing with heartbreak
Dealing with breaking up happens to most people
Dealing with breaking up is filled with emotions and feelings of sadness, loneliness and sometimes anger. It needs great strength for anyone to come out of this tops but it can be done. It is a difficult time for both partners as lots of time would have been spent together with many fond memories that keep playing back in your mind. These don't just have to be memories because many a breakup has led to a stronger partnership if both partners can work it out together.
Dealing with breaking up may mean working to get back together
It will feel that this pain is so bad that no one else has felt it or had to handle. Be consoled that it has happened many times to others and one way dealing with breaking up is working at getting back together.
Watch the next video to Chris Daughtry's What About Now. Look out for the lyrics:
What if you're making me all that I was meant to be?
What if our love, it never went away?
What if it's lost behind words we could never find?
What if your love never went away?
In dealing with breaking up, heal the pain first
No matter however philosophical one gets about why one should not hurt, that does not stop the emotions going on a roller-coaster ride.
Cry aloud if you want. Listening to "What About Now" could help you to spend some time to give yourself time to be sad.
Then move on to some other activity. Go out with your friends, watch a comedy, do some gardening or go to the gym. Doing something physical will also get you tired so that you can sleep better at night.
Next step in dealing with breaking is to decide whether to get back together
Once you are in a calmer state, then the next step is not getting back together. It is first deciding whether to get back together. Is it a matter of your relationship getting stronger after the scare of a breakup? Or is it a sign that it is better to part ways?
Yes, it does sound cruel to say it! But it may be better to suffer a short term pain than to postpone it for a bigger heartbreak in future.
