Model-turned-actress Deepika Padukone, playing a bold character in Farhan Akhtar’s forthcoming production Karthik Calling Karthik.

The 23-year-old actress, whose last movie at the box office, Love Aaj Kal, has  turned out to be one of the biggest grosser of the year. The actress is also known for her simple, yet sexy sense of style.

Deeepika Padukne's next two releases — Kartik Calling Kartik with Farhan Akhtar and Housefull, both of which will come in 2010. Deepika has also signed Pradeep Sarkar’s gritty thriller to be shot on the streets of Mumbai with Neil Nitin Mukesh. Deepika Padukone, is going to appeare in a Telugu film Love Forever, that too in a special item song.
