In my career I have used many deer repellents over the years. None work all the time. Deer Out is one that seems to work most of the time. The best advice I have is to only plant those plants that deer don't like to eat. I have a link on my website to a list of those. Even that doesn't work all the time though. When the males are rutting, they will rub their antlers on the trunks and can girdle the trees so if it's not one problem then it is another.
