Q lives by initializing. Q has a very good heart, but has fragmentation problems.

This Captain was trying to trace an electrical problem. It seems there is a short circuit, or loose wire somewhere. Electric can be very simple and very complicated. What you hope for is that the problem can be addressed at ends and not in the middle. Ends can be worked on with a little understanding of the basics. Middles sometimes means starting over. As I looked over the wiring diagrams, my mind wandered to thoughts about Q.

The Kid knows Q better than The Captain does. The Kid explained that Q keeps re-setting and re-starting to try to clear issues and problems that a good heart needs cleared. It all sounds somewhat tragic until you talk with Q; then it simply seems simple.

"Is that lavender?" I asked catching a scent of the fragrance.

"Yes. It comes in an oil."

I had noticed that often I could detect lavender when Q was nearby. "Oil, huh? It's very nice."

"Yeah. Good days its 10W 30 variety, but other days I need a 50 grade."

"Nothing wrong with a good oil change now and then."

"I dunno about change, but thicker is better when things are heatin' up."

"Are we still talking about lavender?" I asked.

"That depends. Were we?"

So it goes with Q. There are subtle messages. These are indicators about Q and what the good heart can or can no longer take. Then there are the times when the messages will become fragmented when the good heart cannot make room for more of anyone, or anything, including Q. This is when Q will defrag and often will initialize in attempt to alleviate the problems and/or clear them from the good heart.

On the water Q is a character. Characters can be good and can provide escape for all in their company, or for all those who are simply observers of the character. Q is a good for escape type of character. On the water there is no hint of lavender. On the water good times and good heart blend well. You must enjoy getting wet, finding treasure, going on an adventure, and being a little brave to join Q on the water. Be ready to dive off the rail, or jump from the spreaders. Be ready to getaway no matter how far you are invited to go. Be ready to share in the fun that is being shared in earnest.

The water is escape for Q. In the water, on the water, playing and having fun, Q is a character that will take you faraway from stresses of the day. You just have to join in and escape with Q. Escape by water defrags the good heart and it opens wide in invitation, especially to those who stood by during the fragmented days. On the water the good heart is good and not loaded down with its problems that fragment it on land. The good heart laughs. The good heart sympathizes. The good heart empathizes. The good heart opens wide and understands and welcomes all. The good heart is the real Q.

This Captain does not know if it is the ends or the middle where some of the problem is. The middle is not as easy to work on. More about Q later. We hope we do not have to go on the hard.
