Deja Vous
67Deja vous and reincarnation are very closely related philosophies. Reincarnation is the belief that an individual will come back in life as another person after death. Deja vous is the feeling that you have been somewhere or experienced a situation before, perhaps in a previous life.
My theory on deja vous is closely related to the big-bang theory, which states that the universe was created by some cosmic explosion billions of years ago and that the universe is constantly expanding. But imagine if the universe expands to a point, then begins contracting upon itself. At some point all matter would finally converge in a single point. When the mass is great enough another big-bang explosion occurs. These phenomena could repeat endlessly.
If there are numerous occurrences of the big-bang explosion then people could come back in each instance, or be reincarnated, if you will; but not as someone else, as themselves with the same identity, feelings, and cognitive ability. Some theorists would classify this as a parallel universe. However, the time is sequential, not concurrent. Life could be like an endless-loop recording; beginning, running its course, ending, and starting all over again.
Where deja vous comes into play is when a person reaches the same experience as from their previous lives and needs to make a decision that may differ from their previous choices. That situation is brought to mind as a sort of flag which we call deja vous. People may be experiencing deja vous more now than in the past because the endless loop recording may be coming back to the point where it is time to start over again.

I like this link on deja vous, I strongly believe in past life and re-incarnation - I believe we never die, and its nice to know we come back as someone else. I also believe that sometimes we meet the people we have met in previous lives, and meet again in present day to finish off what we didn't finish off before, and maybe if its not completed this time round, we come back again.
This is a really cool hypothesis. My only question would be, couldn't variation figure into the process? Like, if each time the big bang were to happen again, couldn't something so small be different (like, I don't know, one or more particles being in different places during expansion than during the last bang) and thus change people and events in the future?
