Its real, and its around us everyday. Maybe you was at the Cafe' to get some coffee, and you heard a customer cursing at one of the workers for an order made incorrectly. That could be a case of demonic oppression or possession. Why do I say this? I say this because, not only is cursing for an order done wrong completely irrational, its also something that the average person wouldn't do. Its not our instincts to curse people out for food. It has to be some form of demonic influences.

Back in High School, when walking through the halls to get to class, I always seemed to walk pass a group of gothic kids. I don't know exactly why, but I received a very negative vibe from them. I could just assume its because they are Satan worshippers, but then again there is no proof of that. They may not be even gothic, but I'm judging them for their appearance. All that I can say about them is that I got a negative vibe from them when I had to pass them. Maybe they are demonic possession victims or maybe I'm the one going through demonic oppression for judging these people. Its a mystery to me.

The point that I am trying to make (which is kind of off topic) is that we don't know who can be victims of demonic possession and/or oppression. It could be human instincts reacting to false beliefs. It could be apart of some plot to control us. Or we may all be possessed. It is actually believed that 144,000 people will make it to heaven, while billions of others will burn for eternity in the fiery pits of hell. That could leave suggestions that maybe only 144,000 people are completely sane in this would, while there are billions of people out there that are currently under demonic oppression. It makes you think.

The severity of demonic possession changes with the individual. Like in the image above, the Spirit Research Foundation considers this to be Mild Demonic Possession. Come on now! If this is mild, then what is severe? This girl looks as if she is levitating. Then you notice the rope around her neck. She is about to commit suicide and this is considered mild. But, whatever. They are the experts, so I'll just take their word for it. This is "mild" demonic possession.

The more severe cases (as depicted in the movie, Exorcism of Emily Rose) show much more than just the average symptoms of possession. It shows how she obtained supernatural powers. It shows how she was able to speak in a language that was completely unfamiliar to her. It shows how she died as a result from the trauma of her possession.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is actually based on a real story, based in 1972. on a  girl by the name of Anneliese Michel. Anneliese Michel was a German girl who was allegedly possessed by demons. The movie portrayed Anneliese Michel as Emily Rose. She was a happy and healthy college student whose life is turned upside down by terrifying changes in her mental and physical appearance alike. She begins to hear voices and see things. Doctors believe that it is some form of psychological disorder, while the family believes that she is battling demonic possession. There is then a failed attempt to perform an exorcism and Anneliese Michel dies as a result of the trauma. Everyone then blames the family priest, Father Moore for her death.

That is known as a severe case of demonic possession. The ultimate goal of these malevolent spirits is to cause the death of their host. That's their main goal when possessing an individual.

Anneliese was born September 21, 1952 in Klingenberg, Bavaria, Germany. She was raised by a strict Catholic family, which raised her to be a woman of great faith. Anneliese was a very religious woman. Her beliefs were very strong and she prayed on a regular basis. She was very devoted to her religious beliefs. To make reparations for the sins of wayward priests and drug addicts, she slept on a bare floor in the middle of winter.

On a day in 1968, her life begin to change when she found that she was literally unable to control her body. Her body began to shake uncontrollably. She was unable to call for the help of anyone. Guessing that she couldn't speak during the attack, she couldn't enlist the help of her parents, or her three siblings. A neurologist at the Psychiatric Clinic Wurzburg diagnosed her with "Grand Mal" epilepsy. Soon after, she was hit with severe depression, which was the reason she was admitted into the hospital.

Soon after her attacks began, she begin receiving devilish grimaces during her daily praying. In fall of 1970, Anneliese was battling the belief that she was possessed by demonic beings. It was during a time that young people were enjoying the liberal freedoms of the time. Soon after she started having the visions, she also begin to hear voices saying that she will "stew in hell'. She told her doctor about the demons once. What the doctor was informed was that the demons started to give her orders. The doctor was unable to help her, so she begin to lose hope. She gave up on the medicine, thinking that it was nothing the medicine could do to help her.

In the summer of 1973, her parents went to talk to different pastors, requesting an exorcism. They rejected all of the requested and stated that it would help for Annaliese to continue her life living as a more religious person as she already is. They wouldn't treat her because she didn't show some of the required traits of a demonically possessed person such as "aversion to religious objects, speaking in a language that was never learned, and supernatural powers".

When she moved back to her parents house, her behavior had gotten worse. She begin to insult, attack, and bite other members of the household. She would scream for hours and hours at a time each day while breaking crucifixes and in some instances, she would "crawl under the kitchen table and bark like a dog for 2 days straight". This behavior became natural to her. She would urinate on the floor and lick it off the floor. One time she bit the head of a dead bird off and ate it. She ate flies, spiders, and even coal. She did not eat any regular food at all because the demons wouldn't allow it. She also slept on the stone floor. She would go about destroying pictures of Jesus Christ and began tearing off her clothing.

"The Great Exorcism" begin in 1975. The Bishop of Wurzburg assigned Father Arnold Renz and Pastor Ernst Alt with the order to perform "The Great Exorcism". It was determined that Anneliese Michel must be saved from several demons, including Lucifer, Judas Iscariot, Nero Cain, Hitler, and Fleischmann ( Disgraced Frankish priest from the 16th century), and other damned souls that manifested in her. Basically, Anneliese Michel was a vessel for all things damned. She was a door to hell.

The exorcism carried on for months, twice per week. Ultimately she would die from the trauma.

It is believed that the Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler was possessed by Lucifer. Recent information emerged from the time of his reign in Germany from an exorcist saying that a pope tried to perform a long distance exorcism on Hitler but ultimately failed. It is also believed that Russian leader Stalin was possessed by Lucifer as well.

A Vatican exorcist made a statement saying that Hitler and Stalin were possessed by the devil. Father Amorth also believes they were possessed. In fact, Father Amorth believes that all of the nazi's were possessed. It is a well known fact that Lucifer can possess an entire population if he wanted to, so that may be a good reason why they killed 11 million people (about 2/3 of the European population).

According to Vatican documents released, wartime pontiff Pope Plus Xll attempted a long distance exorcism on Adolf Hitler but ultimately failed.

The problem with the belief of people being possessed is that sometimes it can be blown way out of proportion. Sometimes these people may not be possessed at all, but others may believe they are. Then things get out of hand because these so-called exorcist think they are doing the greater good. There is no worst thing than a person who has no knowledge of demonology and exorcism, but wants to quote on quote "save" a possessed soul. Things will only get disastrous when all of these elements come into play.

There was a case where a priest ordered a possessed nun to be "crucified". That shows that this priest had no knowledge of demonology. If he did have this knowledge, then he would know that there is a better way of purifying someone. Its called an exorcism. Of course, the priest had the power at his fingertips and he used it and completely screwed it up. Maybe that priest was possessed. He did show a lust for power in his decision to kill this nun.
