First: Congrats to you and happy wedding planning

Here's some information I have gathered for planning your destination wedding. Before your destination wedding can take place, your bridal party and wedding guest will need to meet legal requirements. If traveling from the US to the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda, or Canada you must have a passport to enter and re-enter the U.S. If traveling from the U.S. to Puerto Rico or Virgin Islands a passport is not needed. To obtain a passport you will need proof of citizenship a photo ID & 2 photos. For forms & fees go to www.travel.state.gov/passports. Keep this in mind when inviting people to attend and participate in your wedding. Some people may not be able to attend or participate due to personal reasons such as health, financial, and other obligations. Now that the legal issue is out of the way its time to choose your destination. Destination weddings can be easier to plan because Resorts offer wedding packages which come with many options including celebrity wedding planner packages such as Preston Bailey at the Sandals Resort in the Caribbean, where you can choose the Water Lily Collection=
Silk water lilies in shades of pink and fuchsia, purple orchids, and tropical leaves. Floral Elegance Collection=White silk frangipani flowers are used throughout. Crystal Collection= white silk roses and pale orchids with pearly shells and crystals. Sea Mist fresh Collection=Crystals and flowers in shades of white, cream, and pale green. Caribbean Sunset Collection= pink roses and exotic tropical flowers.

Once you decide on your wedding package keep everyone in the loop with save the date cards, which should be mailed 6 months before your wedding date: include location, hotel and travel info and of course your name. After you plan all activities during your stay at your destination, make a print out and give to your guest upon arrival or put it in your gift bags that you will give to your guest as a wedding favor. In your gift bags you can put products such as sun screen samples an a pair of flip flops, monogram caps/hats, and bottle water etc.
