Detox Foot Pads are a supposedly simple method of removing body toxins. First things first, a little bit about detox. It's short for detoxification and means the removal of toxins from your body. It's been used a lot these days and the promotion of alternative medicines. There are many detox foot pads on the market, most notably the Takara Detox Foot Patch.  There's no real evidence of any benefits from a lot of these alternative detox methods like Foot Detox. Your kidneys and your liver are the two organs whose function is detoxifying your body naturally, and excreting the waste in the normal fashion. There is a theory that if toxins are released too quickly, as these alternative remedies suggest they would be, they may present danger to the body. This is what the detox foot patches are trying to remove.

Most of your toxins are stored in accumulations of fat around your body. When you burn fat toxins are released in a gradual, controlled way. Then they can be dealt with by the kidneys and liver, and expelled from the body.

The foot detox product I am focusing on in this hubpage is the Detox Foot Pad. And the question is do they work?

They have supposedly been used in Japan for a long time, and are now making an appearance in the West. The makers of these Detox Foot Patches claim that they have the ability to draw toxins out through the feet while you sleep. Yes, you heard me right. You simply stick one to the soul of your foot before going to bed. And all through the night, the patches are working to draw those nasty toxins out of your system. This will please a lot of people, simply because they don't have to do any exercise. All the work is done by these magic Detox Foot Pads. Even heavy metals are drawn out with this method.

The apparent proof that these detox foot patches are working, comes in the morning. When you remove the patch from your foot, it appears discolored, it has turned black. There you are, the proof is in the pudding. Not quite. Some tests have been carried out, by some very eminent scientists I would presume. That has sort of debunked this discoloration. When held above a steaming kettle, the pads turn black.

So, there are two sides to this. And there are rising numbers of people on both sides. One set of people are calling this a blatant fraud, a scam. On the other side are the satisfied customers who have used Foot Detox and who are saying that they feel better, that they feel good results, they believe that these patches are working for them. People are saying that they feel improvements in the way they are sleeping, improvements in joint stiffness, complexion issues, arthritic pains, and many other areas

This could be due to wishful thinking, also known as the placebo effect. It is well known that patients can sometimes see a marked improvement in health issue by taking what they believe to be good medication when all along it has been a harmless powder, or sugar water, etc.

And not everybody that has used the Foot Detox Patches has noticed any benefits, and so this is with other similar products. The question that should be asked is should they be banned. I think unless they are harming people, no. If you start banning foot detox patches, soon you will have people asking for reflexology to be banned, or acupuncture. Thank you for visiting the detox foot patches hub.
