How to Develop Your Psychic Powers
62Develop your Psychic Powers with these Tips
There is little need to motivate some people to develop their psychic powers. Others have a problem of being unable to believe in themselves enough to recognize that they can develop their own psychic abilities.
Recently, I've been thinking on this issue a great deal, and one of the subscribers to my newsletter gave me a great idea. If you are having difficulty finding the motivation to develop your psychic powers, think of it this way:
Buddhism is the second or third most popular religion in the world (it depends on which sources you want to look at for reference). Each of these people is looking for the same thing: Nirvana, which is sometimes translated to mean "ultimate soul-consciousness". In other words, what Buddhists want is to be able to contact soul energy, not only theirs, but that of the entire world. In doing this, they reach a blissful state of consciousness.
The first step of the process for monks is to get in contact with their eternal soul. Well, when developing psychic powers, you are interacting with soul energy. Yes, your psychic premonitions come from your eternal soul, and receiving and interpreting the messages it sends is one of the best ways to live "in the moment" and encounter a state of bliss.
Imagine what it would be like to experience heaven on earth...for many psychics, that is exactly what their divination or clairvoyance feels like to them.
Now, I know you're thinking to yourself, "But it takes Buddhists many decades to finally realize their ultimate goal." Yes, this is very true, and for many psychics, it is true too, but I believe it is because most people go about learning to contact their soul energy in a less-than-optimal way.
Meditation is great. It's highly important to your well-being, and you'll see that in my newsletter, one of the first things that I recommend to you is that you practice meditation from day 1. If you do not go beyond this, by examining and learning from your natural psychic tendencies, then you are missing a critical piece of the puzzle. The puzzle that could lead you to a path of eternal happiness!
So take the next step. Learn to develop your psychic powers today, and you'll be one day closer to a wonderful new way of life, connected to all parts of yourself, body, mind and soul. Here is a good psychic training course newsletter with a free guide to learning more!

How to Develop Your Psychic Powers
There are a variety of ways to develop your psychic powers. One of the most simple and unassuming methods is through the use of concentration and meditation. By simply sitting and concentrating on a particular situation or object (if you are learning dowsing), then you can eventually have the stillness of your mind broken by a thought which you feel certain is correct.
This is a premonition, and it is something that is gifted to you from your psychic soul. Sometimes, this force is known as your "inner psychic" and it is a part of your eternal soul consciousness. When you are developing your psychic powers, you are actually contacting this part of your soul.
While it seems simple, this method of concentration and meditation is one of the most powerful techniques for you to develop your psychic powers, as it is the way that most professional psychics and diviners begin their reading. While they may be quite a bit quicker and be able to pull deeper insight out than you will at first, this is what they do when meeting and interacting with a new client. After time, and honing your skills, you too will be able to develop your psychic abilities in this way.

An really interesting hub. I never really thought in terms of soul energy but it does make a great deal of sense, when I think about it. As for the meditation aspect, it is a cornerstone in my own development and you've made an excellent point about how essential that is, in one's overall training and development. A great hub and I may request to include your link on my blog for your newsletter. It would definitely benefit the people who drop by there. Thanks again for allowing me to add to my knowledge. It comes on the tail of learning about koans and how to use them in meditation. Well, nothing is ever random, is it? I love it when that happens!
