DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT DIABETES?
DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT DIABETES?

I AM A DIABETIC--NOW WHAT DO I DO?

If you have Diabetes or know of someone who does, then you've come to the right place. I've had Diabetes for almost 16 years now. Here I will tell you my story about not paying attention to this dreadful disease and give you information to help you combat your Diabetes.

We're going to discuss Diabetes from every angle that we can think of plus any others that you want to cover. Some topics coming up will be:

1. Finding out you have Diabetes -- the denial, anger, fears and acceptance.

2. Finding a way to live with Diabetes on a day to day basis

3. Different diet approaches

4. Living with a Diabetic spouse

5. Exercise for the Diabetic

6. Heart Health

7. Diabetes and your mouth

8. Diabetic neuropathy

9. Low fat-low sugar recipes anyone would love

These are only a few of the topics we'll touch on.

There is so much information that Diabetics need to know about living with this killer disease on a daily basis. But most doctors just aren't giving their patients all the current information and options available or they don't know it themselves because they haven't "walked in our shoes".

Come join us as we begin a journey down the Diabetic Information Path!

If you have type 1 diabetes, you're correct, it cannot be cured. But if you have type 2 diabetes, it not only can be cured, it can be prevented.

Hi-

I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you. I've had Diabetes for over 15 years now and have studed it closely. If I had followed all the instructions I had been given through the years, yes, my Diabetes could have been prevented. But to say it can ever be "cured" is wrong.

It's just like Cancer--you can put it remission but slip up and right back it can come! Diabetes is something that will always be with you--it's up to you how bad or how good the results are.

I check my sugar about five to six times a day. It makes a difference!

Thumbs up from a diabetic fan!

You have to keep checking those levels, you're right. Only way to keep tabs on how you're doing!

Thanks for finding me and come by again!

Oh my, are we really that pessimistic, Diabetic-4-life ? Atthetop was right, it can be Cured. You need an optimistic point of view. Take a look at: www.wisdom-profits.com and some of the videos by Dr. Neil Barnard. Here's to looking up!
