Diabetes have been linked to hear loss. In short, when the excessive hair loss occur, it could be as result of diabetes’s presence. When a person is experiencing hair loss problem and the hair loss pattern is not uniform, then he or she needs to contact a doctor for further test.
One reason for this advice is that occurrence of diabetes leads to imbalance of many things in the body especially hormones in the body. The first sign of these imbalance can be seen as hair loss.
Occurrence of diabetes affects blood circulation. When there is insufficient blood circulation in the body, the hair follicles won’t be able to do their job properly.
As a result of poor blood circulation, the follicle will not be able to grow new strand of hair and the old hair dies and falls out without new ones to replace them.
It is more easy for diabetic patients to have skin infection or conditions.

Another thing that cause hair loss is the prescription drug taken by the diabetic patient. The good news is that this condition can reverse, once the body gets used to the medication.
