Diabetes is a disease which is characterized by deranged glucose tolerance, irregular blood sugar level and metabolism, deranged insulin production of an individual.

There are various hypotheses as regards to the cause of diabetes and the complications associated with it. Various researchers had carried out many studies trying to understand the realm of diabetes. Most of the studies have been done in accordance to the association of diabetes with other disease conditions.

Research for cause of diabetes:

Various research works has been carried out to understand the various etiological and predisposing factors of diabetes so as to make it easier for preventing its occurrence in younger generations. Extensive research work has been done in this area so as to help in preventing the severe complication arising from diabetes. These studies reveal that the complications and other diseases arise in those individuals who did not take proper treatment for diabetes or had not maintained a healthy lifestyle.
