Diablo 3 new
54The monk is the fourth character class unveiled the five that comprise
Diablo III. The promise of Blizzard to create a character skilled in
the dexterity with unparalleled benefits for its speed, its fervor and
sacred quest for physical perfection and spiritual, are met. Too fast
to be followed with the naked eye, he unleashes on his enemies a
barrage of blows at the speed of lightning. At the helm of the monk, it
feels very powerful and almost invincible. Its two main strokes give it
a nice gameplay and combined together, make it untouchable. The first
is simply a single blow, which when bombarded three times at an
opponent up over the head of it an icon of heart. In the way of
Kenshiro, the monster is mortally wounded and already dead and this is
a matter of time before he succumbed to his injuries.
When activating the second shot, a mystic circle is drawn on the
ground and the monk will turn to teleport a few times to hit all
opponents within range. Using the first shot then the technique of
teleportation, the monk makes it virtually impossible to reach, what
wait the few seconds needed for the implosion of monsters. And best of
all it is exploding in this way, your opponents do damage to monsters
nearby. Moved to level 12 on our part, we released two new powers. The
impenetrable defense is at least a valuable ally and a glimpse of
gameplay that takes full advantage of cooperation, about the
possibility of making its enemies blind few moments, there is also
evidence of the intention to the character class the masters of timing.
If the demo does not include many scripted elements, however it
was heavily loaded with random surprises of every kind. So we could
happily fall into a trap as we were entering an enclave to rescue a
girl trapped. Once at the fair, monsters sprang from all sides and Miss
turned into the most vile beast. An opportunity that we have not missed
to test the system of "achievement". Each is high (number of enemies
killed successively large number of monsters killed in one blow ...), a
message appears at the bottom right of the screen and congratulate you
on this achievement. And the best is that this addition to the core
gameplay of Diablo will not only serve to tell it on Battle.net, since
they reap a bonus experience points for each success.
Another funny idea, we found the corner of a desert safe passage
guarded by five monsters. To stop the whirlwind that prevented us from
reaching the booty they had to knock five opponents at the same time.
But the highlight of this demo we appeared at a side-quests. Passing a
tower, a transporter has plunged us into the bowels of the building in
ruins. A stopwatch was then started telling us that we only had 3
minutes to find the treasure sites. Steeper, groups of enemies
protecting many chests, after all personal greed and landslides random;
hazards and other risk-taking did not fail! Lack of opportunity, we
have succumbed to a few meters of the area that seemed to conceal
chests most interesting ... Side objects, nothing has really filtered,
even if we could confirm the presence of gems suggesting that weapons
and armor will always certissables. As for skills, we can also improve
by using runes to alter their effects. Finally, remember that only need
to walk over piles of gold and the bonus lives to retrieve them, which
will save a little bit left click of your mouse.
More convincing than ever, Diablo III is on course to win all
gamers. Beautiful with its elevation changes and numerous visual
effects (including blood splatter), the game Blizzard will not
disappoint the fans! Still, the wait may be long because the publisher
has not yet announced any official release date.
