My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at 19 in 1994 and had a bone marow transplant. I was her primary caregiver. It was definitely the worst thing to ever happen in my life. She is a survivor! I now have post traumatic stress disorder and my life is extremely "challenging." Am I a better person? Well, for sure I'm exhausted and trying not to feel hopeless, but if I wasn't a better person from this, then I shouldn't be taking up space on the planet. I learned that every single second of life is precious and not to be taken for granted... I have been been blessed to have been the recipient of countless prayers and immeasurable Love. Yes, I guess I'm a better person mostly because of that...
If life means anything I believe that god places challenges in front of us and its the way we respond to all these challenges, That illustrates the metal of the person. I want the challenges (I have had a couple)
