Recently Sunita Williams, an Indian origin astronaut returned to the earth after her 197 days stay on satellite space station alogn with her other four crew members. I have come accross many discussion and messages that Sunita Willimas along with her other crew members has accepted Islam.
Here is the story behind the convertion what is coming from the sources although officially it is not declared so far. When the astronauts were taking photographs of earth from the space satellite with the help of powerful telescope they found the complete earth as dark except the two places on the earth i.e Makka and Madina, two famous historically rich cities of Soudi Arabia. The pictures of Makka and Madina from Satellite is given below. It looks very interesting and nothing but miracle. Although the acceptance of Islam by Sunita Williams is not so far confirmed by any authenticated source but the pictures they took from satellite is very interesing and ofcourse a miracle

its amazing pictures. i agree with passerby that we can see such pics in google earth but we cant see such way that, these two places only shining when rest of the world is in dark. i dont agree that Sunita Williams converted yet. she just did her job by showing snaps. Pls dont spread roumours. If she converted we will come to know. God Almighty has to guide each one of us to the right path.

saw picture of sunita dated 25septemer 07 in religious attire with hindu dot so dont think her conversion is verified (just type her name only in google and will come) adding another caviate, the harramain sharif is made of white marble thus can have reflection. Almighty does not need these manifestation to prove, i.e, banda ache floods destroyed everything apart from mosques. almighty works in diffeent ways but i try not look too much into it.

about the pictures, different people have different things to say about it. but i agree with some people who have said that there are many more miracles around us which ALLAH has revealed to mankind in the Qur'aan, such as the birth of a child, geologic phenomena, etc.

the question of whether man has really been to the moon is a valid one in my opinion. but with the greatest of all miracles (al-Qur'aan) in our homes, why do we need any more proof of ALLAH's Existence and Greatness? is the Qur'aan not sufficient proof?

with due respect to ikram, any person embracing Islam is required to declare (in speech and in action) his/her acceptace of Islam. it is NOT enough to hide this in his/her mind as Islam is total submission to ALLAH in body and in spirit. Imaan is not restricted to conviction alone - Imaan has three pillars (it is like a tripod): belief with the heart, speech with the tongue, and action with the limbs. so if a person believes that ALLAH is the one and only Lord and utters the Shahaadah, but seeks judgement from a kaafir (rather than from the Qur'aan and Sunnah) over a disputed matter, he is NOT Muslim. similarly, if a woman wears jilbab but she is averse to the very notion of hijab, then she is NOT Muslim. or if a ruler who knows that alcohol, interest and prostitution are haraam, but allows them in his region, is NOT Muslim as Islam is TOTAL submission to ALLAH's Commands.

But reality is if you see through Google Earth software (which also taken by very very high telescopic lens) you will find that the Makkah and Madina is white. You will find even better image. Actually Makkah and Madina the whole premises are covered with literary white stone which never get hot in the Summer even. If you perform Hajj (I hope very soon you will) you find that by yourself.

It appears that this word has been derived from Prophet Idris with the initial letter ‘I’ moved to the end of the word, similar to the case of Abraham and Brahma, and the 'd' dropped as in the case of Mamah (Mohammad, which is derived from root letters h, m, and d). The Sama Veda contains many prophecies of the advent of Prophet Mohammad. Here, one of them is presented. It is found in Sama Veda, II:6,8: "Ahmad acquired religious law (Shariah) from his Lord. This religious law is full of wisdom. I receive light from him just as from the sun."Prophet Muhammad’s other name was Ahmad (both are from root letters h, m and d), both words have the meaning the “praised one” except the latter emphasizes a higher degree to it. The Holy Qur’an states that Prophet ‘Isa (Jesus, pbuh) mentioned the last Prophet’s name as Ahmad. Prophecy In Rig VedaRig Veda V, 27, 1: The wagon-possessor, the truthful and truth-loving, extremely wise, powerful and generous, Mamah [Mohammad] has favored me with his words. The son of the All-powerful, possessing all good attributes, the mercy for the worlds has become famous with ten thousand [companions]. Several prophecies are found in Atharva Veda: (1) XX: 21, Mantras 6, 7, and 9, (2) XX: 137, Mantras 7 through 9, and (3) X: 2, Mantras 26, 27, 29, 30, and 32. Similarly, in Rig Veda, additional prophecies are found in: (1) VII: 96, Mantras 13 through 16, and (2) I: 53, Mantras 6 and 9. Finally, a prophecy is found in Sama Veda III: 10, Mantra 1. Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) himself told of the coming of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). In the Bible, Jesus (A.S.) says,

Ulema (learned scholars in Islam) have said that the person who is described by Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) to come after him - in the above verse - does not comply with any other person but Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
In this case, the "comforter" he mentions is none other than Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his laws and way of life (Shariah) and Book (Holy Qur'an) are those that Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) asks his followers to abide by.
The "person" whom Jesus (A.S.) prophecised will come after him, is called Pargaleeta in the Bible . This word was deleted by interpreters and translators and changed at times to "Spirit of Truth" and at other times, to "comforter" and sometimes "Holy Spirit." The original Greek and its meaning is "one whom people praise exceedingly." The sense of the word, then, is applicable to the word Muhammad in Arabic, since Muhammad means "the praised one." these discoveries is an eye opener for the people and even for Sunita William and Her Team. This article of Sunita's conversion to Islam is a kind of joke. The person who published this story originally must be a non Muslim who has an agenda to defame Islam and Muslims. This news may be a similar lie like the one decades ago rumored that Neil Armstrong became a Muslim after going to the moon. Has the author of this article been able to obtain a video clip of Sunita wherein she declares that she has embraced Islam? No. WHERE IS THE MIRACLE? THE SHINING BUILDINGS? If that is the case then there is no miracle. In Makka and Medina both these holy places are illuminated with powerful floodlights through out the nights. For example when a football game is played in an open stadium at night with floodlights on and if a picture is taken from the satellite, the picture will show a bright stadium with dark surrounding. So there is no mystery what you see in these pictures.
I imagine Sunita knows that Makka and Medina shrines are illuminated with floodlights. Assuming that the time she took those pictures she was not aware of it. Then what would be her next step to solve this mystery? She would contact the ground controls and get the right answer from them. Why should she embrace Islam? Because the holy places in Makka and Madina are illuminated with powerful electrical lights? Give me a break! To anyone with common sense there was no miracle at all. After reading this article I checked the biography of Sunita but I did not find any clue regarding these pictures or of her conversion. I also checked with my computer using program like Google earth to compare the colors of the Holy Places in Makka and Medina.The exposed surface of the buildings are made of good white reflective materials like white marbles. The pictures I checked with were taken during day time. Though the shrine buildings look very bright due to sunlight the surrounding buildings look far from equal brightness.
I feel so sorry for my Muslim brothers and sisters for being so excited and expressing their joyous feelings with the words like Masha Allah, Alhamdulillah, Subhan Allah, Allahu Akbar etc while endorsing a pack of lies. What could be sadder then this? What could be more disgraceful? Besides, if it was a true story yet there is no reason to be so excited. People change religions for their own reasons most likely for peace of mind. Many non Muslims converting to Islam every year and some Muslims also convert to other religion. If you feel that this kind of news reinforces your faith in Islam then your faith is shaky and fragile. You need to do something about it. As I said before I believe this rumor is started by a Muslim hater non Muslim to show that how stupid Muslims are. So instead of paying attention and admiring this kind of faulty news do what you are supposed to do.

Remember that Muslims are far behind than the people of other faiths in this modern world of science and technology. This situation may be the result of much of restrictions imposed by the elders of the Muslim families who gave priorities to religious education instead of modern general education. Unfortunately we cannot go back in time to fix it. But, what we can do though is encourage our children and grand children and so forth to do better in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Let them feel that these three subjects are our lifeline and part of our religion to make a better living on earth.

It is not a new thing. Makkah and Madina are such a places, Allah has selected these two points from the begining of the world because they two places have link to his Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Hello All.... Dont be countries tue is true but ..... this may be night light from there. I mean Makka and Madina is a famouse pilgrim center so there is alway shine with spotlights and all place is secure with electric lights, look ...this not so far kilometer just if 5 or 6 and 10 K/m view. Example one particular place set with the redinterior lights i mean about one kilometer across. You can see from the helicopter that place is shine as well as this. Ok, As the unbeleivers says " If this is becoz of lighting in the night, Were all the other places/ houses/ buildings nearby holy Makkah & madina in completely dark? (Or) Are Holy Makkah & Madina in the place where no other buildings are there. How is it possible. From the above pictures taken from space, you can see, the area covered is not 1 km / 2 km. People who travelled in flights can understand that road lights are clearly vissible with other lightings in the buildings. I am not saying that Ms.Sunitha William has converted to Islam. Even if she converted, there is no neccessary for hir to declare, becoz it is belife and own rights. So, jealousy humen beings cannot keep quit. Islam shows right way for those who belives and follows.

I am non muslim and i am also beleving is in god but my thinking is totally different than others. God is only one they know everybody but nobody knows where is god and how he looks. As per my thinking God is in heart of all the human. When some person is doing wrong then he and other person feels good or bad in his heart that means god is in your heart. Dont think on all this type of fake news and do good and you have to make proud on your work.....

I dont know about Sunita William who has accepted Islam. but it is fact the 1st NASA space scientist who had visited the moon firstly, named Neel Arm Strong also had accepted Islam. but the US government had kept this news very hidden and threw him in the prison. after his visit we could not know the more information about moon because he had been killed in the prison.
Neel Arm Strong said, after his return" I heared an unknown voice or sound spreading every where on the Moon and I could not tell its exact location, but when I heared the same voice on the earth from a Mosque I became very surpirsed. Sunita Willims ke Islam kubool kar lene se musalmanon ko koi farq nahin padta. Allah tala ne kaha hai ek din har ghar me ye deen dakhil ho kar rahega.Agar sunita ne Islam apna bhi liya hai to ye uske liye achha ki woh ek din jannat me aa sakti hai.

At the same time god has given some rules and regulation, we have to follow not criticize to any one, In my point of view In one country one president is there in one state one chief minister is there, suppose if two or three or four chief minister is there means definitely that state and that country is not going to proper.
Eg: you take any law any situations and any thing my friends. Like that God is one. He has no parents no children no wife no one can see him and he is not a human being, he make so many things no one can make him.

This is a very interresting picture indeed, I believe that this form of miracles is very likely, and that Allah (swt) allowed this to be visible through space at the time.
However,
I've learnt a few things when it comes to stories and pictures, mainly the ones I've read on the internet;
I regret to inform you that there is many misinformed muslims on this planet that are willing to force beliefs through fake evidence, such as photoshopped and editted material. This spreads misbelief and some people might loose trust in Islam.
Please take all of this into consideration, I'm personally leaning towards that this is an actual event and that it's a miracle, however, I'd like to see a statement made from Sunita herself aswell. Keep in mind that there is a vast amount of fake material on the internet trying to promote their cause, sometimes it involves islam aswell.

But I read in other site that Sunita did not convert to Islam. I hope she does after this proof, because this is a good proof that Islam is the way to Almighty God.
