My understanding of diet plans is that the Adkins high protein diet should be used sparingly and that you cannot continually eat high protein for months and months or you can get kidney problems.

Of course you should check with a physician before starting a diet plan. But doc is very busy and you need to do the research yourself and be prepared to explain the plan to your physician. So just start right here and enjoy the search!
