Educate your self about HIV &AIDS

HIV is(human immunodeficiency virus)It simply means that a person have been tested positive for this virus. It does not transform into AIDS immediately it usually takes ten or more years or unless your immune system problems appear. Through out being a carrier of HIV, you may feel well but you can pass this disease on to other through several means. There is medication to help slow the progress of the disease but there is no medication to completely eradicate it from your system.

It is transmitted through the body fluids. The Semen,Blood, Vaginal Fluids,Breast milk from an infected mother, and other body fluids containing blood, Cerebrol spinal fluid surrounding the brain and the spinal cord and Amniotic fluid surrounding an unborn child in the womb of an infected mother.

Under what situations would have a person come in contact with the body fluids?

Blood transfusions from a carrier of "HIV POSITIVE PERSON" , Sexual relations with the same, all forms of sexual contacts ,Even from open cuts or sores that those fluids could enter the body of others , Mucous membranes, and Infected pregnant women transferring to the infant or health care worker.
The only way to know for sure about the virus is to be tested for HIV

A person does not get HIV or AIDS by socializing
One cannot get HIV or AIDS from normal day to day contact with an infected person. one does not catch it from drinking or eating in cups, glasses, plates, dry cheek kissing, shaking hand or normal interaction at the workplace or school. HIV is not an airborne virus.

YES,open mouth kissing and sharing of body fluids with an open area, cuts, scrapes or abrasions are possible if you exchange the body fluids by unsafe sexual contact Breast-feeding done by infected mothers is also a transmitter of this virus

How do we protect our self against HIV?
By educating our self and our forth coming generation we can protect our self and our future generation from this life threatening disease.Do not share needles, have sexual relations when both are tested, using condoms is another way to keep safe .thought tears are liable .
