In my last post I have discussed about the ancient history of card games.In this post I like share with you the different types of card games as far as I know them.There are various card games available in card playing world. They can be classified according to theor categories. I will post this types in my next further post.

The most common types of card games are

1. Trick taking games

Card games with different play structure are known as trick taking. Here w, have use the concept of a trick, where at the time of each trick each player places on card from his hand. When everyone finishes playing their card to the trick, their face side is turned down and are removed from the play. One player will have to lead for each trick and the other players play according to their physical positioThere are several variations in trick taking games like; Positive trick taking games, Exact prediction trick taking games, Final trick games, and more. This also involves Cassino, Hearts, Pinochle, Spades, Seuca, Whist etc.

2.Gambling card games

Gambling with card games can be further classified into different sections like beatable and unbeatable casino games. Beatable casino games includes poker games, blackjack, video poker and the like. Unbeatable casino games include Baccarat, Craps, Roulette, 3-card poker, 4-card poker, Keno and lot more.

3. Solitaire games

There is also a single player card games with varying character. You have to deal cards from a special arranged shuffled deck. There are various types of solitaire games like Ace of the Pile, Calculation, Concentration, FreeCell, Kings in the Corner, etc.

4. Collectible card games

Collectible card games are also known as customized card games. Special designed set of card are used here to play. They are fixed set of rules by which the card interact. They are distributed as sealed packs with subsets of available cards. Collectible card games includes starter set, theme deck and starter deck.To decide the type of the card games we have to consider two points:

a. Number of player playing card.

b. And the interest of the players in general.

c. It can also depend on the complexity of rules in the card game.

d. How well it is suitable to the present group who plays.

e. Skill of the players.

f. Time needed for the game.

Whichever the games it can be , the fact is that its all about fun at the last, though money plays a vital role in cards gaming.
