Cyber Crime Resource
A code is written and unleashed into the cyber world, causing havoc and mayhem and delusions of great wealth or mental brilliance, are dancing through the minds of the internet criminal. Did you see that?
The U.S. have the Federal Bureau of Investigations that monitor cyber space to detect for such activities with the following mandate in mind ;
– Stop computer intrusions
– Stop spread of malicious code
– Identify online sexual predators
– Stop online sexual predators
– Monitor the Internet for those who seek to meet and exploit children
– Monitor those who seek to, and/or, produce, possess, or share child pornography
– Counteract activities that target U.S. intellectual property
– Counteract activities endangering national security and/or competitiveness
– Dismantle national and transnational organized criminal activities engaged in Internet fraud
The methods used may include gathering of data from Microsoft, private or public providers and collection of numerous other clues. Codes are forensically analyzed for it’s origin and author through use of various programs that reveals the various digital footprints that will be useful for any legal proceedings. They will examine the system applications, configuration, encryption keys, and accessing recent activities on the various applications.
The specialized teams will be required to have completed a Computer Forensics certification program with a score, no less than 70 percent. As you can see, these teams are highly skilled and specialized and are not exclusive to the FBI. They can be found in our military and law enforcement agencies with one goal in mind, safeguarding our home and people. Do you feel safe yet?
Some of us may sit back and relax since we are aware of these agencies that combat such attacks on our society but others may not know these cyber crime fighters even exist! A few resources that the public can access to make complaints, learn about or report suspicious activity, is available to us and are as follows;

People protest against the idea of online monitoring and claim it’s a invasion of privacy but if there was none, what would happen? Do those that protest vigorously have something to hide? do they want freedom for criminals to disrupt and reign terror online? Are they thinking that your personal, homeland or family safety is important? Questions that we must and should ask ourselves, measuring the pro’s and con’s of internet safety. I prefer to believe that our government will do what they can, to keep our homeland and people, safe. I don't have anything to hide nor am I committing any sort of deviant act. Guess I'm just a ordinary Jane.

Comments and Thoughts
Hi HH, safety should be the main goal for everybody even in business, :) thank you for sharing your comments and visiting.
Online monitoring is a necessary thing. Maybe people who are upset about invasion of privacy are really worried about being judged about something? Unless there is action taken against something that is not illegal, I don't see any problem.
Thanks for the information!
Jen
Hi Wyanjen, I agree on those points too. I don't see why the need for disagreement for something that's for our protection. Thank you for sharing your comments and visit. :)
I agree with the comments too, in fact I think there should be ways to directly deal with theives on the internet, automatic shocks through the keyboards that not only wipe their data clean from their computers but their illegal intensions from their brains!
hi Deborah-Lyn, I agree with you and that would be a awesome trick to do if we could, lol. Thanks for sharing your comments and visit. :)
Security is the main goal. Breach of security can never be tolerated..
