We at Darntoothysam are trying to fill the needs of a large amount of people, but they don't know our services are available... What is that need?

Affordable digital camera repair!

Have you ever taken your digital camera to a 'camera shop' of some kind (don't get me started....) only to have the 'geek' behind the counter tell you the camera is un-fixable or it's just too expensive to fix and you should throw it away?

I've had customers that were told it would be $60 to put a new battery door on their camera, when the part itself costs roughly $10 and takes no tools, but just a twist of the wrist to install! If you need a Canon SD750 battery door and you will see what I mean, it's just a small piece of plastic that twists in to place.

If you brought me your Canon camera that had a door that installed like the model above, I would charge you the price of the door and then show you how it installs and not charge you anything for my 'labor'. $10 vs $60, same repair...

But how do I reach our customers??

All I can ask is that you, our customers and visitors alike will keep us in mind if you have future need of digital camera parts or repair, or know of somebody in need of repair. Please don't throw out that digital camera just because it has a broken part or a stuck lens, and don't let your friends do it either! If we can't fix your camera we can offer to buy it and use it for parts to fix others; and besides, digital cameras are hazardous waste due to the mercury in the PCB's (printed circuit boards) and should never be throw in the garbage. (Think green!)

We are here to fill a void which we think is in dire need of attention. We aren't a super store with geeky uniforms and expensive custom cars to pay for; we are just some guys in St. Paul Minnesota who know how to repair cameras and enjoy doing it. If we can help you or somebody you know, please let us know about it!

Thank you for your time,
