Pre-Party Mingling Tip

Start mingling before the party even begins. Once you've set your plans for your dinner party, post it online. This will act as your invitation as well because you're going to send you guest to your web page through electronic means. A link will be included in an email that will bring them right to the web page about your party.

Personalize your dinner party web page with over 60 multi media tools that are not only very easy to use, but completely free. You can personalize the page to match your theme, add food pictures, add videos of some top chefs in action, or whatever else you'd like to do. Throw in some dinner party music to play while your guests are viewing your page.

They'll see the guest list that includes them and they may even see pictures of themselves beside their names. They'll be able to respond to your invitation and see how others have responded. Everyone will know who's coming, who's not, and who hasn't responded. They'll also see that they can network and offer suggestions for the party. You've just promoted mingling among your guests before the party has even started.

You can also cross reference other dinner party online groups and network (mingle) with them too. There is no limit to how many groups you can network with, so your networking abilities are endless.

You can also use the task manager to lay out task and assign helpers to them. This will be great if you do a multi-cultural theme as you can assign the countries right on your web page to be shared by everyone.

You can even post a budget online and manage it from there. With over 60 multi media tools to use, there's nothing you can't cover. If you're worried about technical experience, know that you don't need one ounce of it. These tools are so simple anyone can use them. And they're free! How great is that?

Dinner Party Themes

Cultural Culinary Cook Off - This is great if you have multi-cultural friends. If you don't, no worries. Group off your guests and assign different countries to them. They have to work together to make the food that is traditional for their country. Everyone brings their creations in covered dishes, you label them, and you're in for a night of new tastes and cultural enlightenment.

Centerpiece Challenge - Plan a great foo-foo meal but let your guests bring the decorations. Engage them in a centerpiece challenge to see who can create the best centerpiece. The winner gets to keep their centerpiece and one more. Does that leave one person or couple without one? No, because you're going to replace it with the one you bought in secret. You get to buy yours since your doing the meal.
