Dior Ready To Wear 2010 Fashion Show Review

John Galliano, head designer of Christian Dior really out did himself with his spring ready to wear collection which debuted November 2010. The show began as gun shots and screaming were heard over the PA all the while setting the tone for one of the best film noir inspired collections I have encountered in a while and I have to tell you, in contrast to his more recent garish collections full of bright reds, blacks and animal prints. The color palate wafted gracefully and appropriately back and forth from muted shimmering lames to beautiful and delicate black lingerie which was sauntered down the runway in a demure fashion that could have been a guest to granny's Sunday Brunch.
Some key items I noticed on the run way included lame, lingerie, ankle socks, lingerie, lace and ruffles. Also the mini trench seems to be in vogue like never before. Also, lots and lots and lots of leather paired with delicate feminine embellishments. Dior, I will always check you out!
