Where to find Discount Jewellery

Jewellery is still one of the best presents a person can get as it shows that thought and effort have gone into choosing something that reflects the person and their tastes. It also pleases the buyer as there are so many shops nowadays that sell discount jewellery that it enables both the receiver and the giver to be happy! It is a very precious gift that can either be timeless and elegant, or completely opposite and thoroughly modern, but it is very versatile and a complete joy.

There are many ways and means to finding discount jewellery, but as with most things, you just have to know where to look and when!

Some people sell jewellery from home or work as they either have a passion for it and created a whole collection from scratch with their own unique ideas or they may have purchased a cheap wholesale lot from another country, in which case, it is still valid and perfectly acceptable as discount jewellery except that it originates form another country therefore using different, maybe cheaper materials. Some people start out with a pool of people they know so that they can sell to trusted friends, test their ideas and get feedback, which in turn means that you can find cheaper jewellery this way.

Try looking at your local markets. Many market traders that sell discount jewellery have purchased it cheap enough, either at auctions, home clearances, charity shops etc, so that they can sell different types of jewellery at a cut price on their stalls, and whilst you can never guarantee what types of jewellery will be there, you can more or less guarantee that they will be unique of pieces that are a fraction of the retail price.

As well as markets, a lot of good quality reasonable jewellery can be purchased at art or handicraft fairs. It is always easier to barter at these types of markets too as the artist is often present on the stalls making it better to barter with them as they know the bottom line price they are willing to accept as opposed to someone who is working for them and may not feel comfortable taking a reduced price.

An obvious one to most people is the Internet. Websites are falling over themselves to offer you discount jewellery because they have got stock from all the above sources as well as many more. Businesses can buy redundant stock and offer that at a cheaper price, buying in bulk, so again its less money for the end user, buying from abroad and many more. But the difference with an online store is that there overheads are so much cheaper than a shop that they can actually afford to offer the same high street jewellery at a cheaper price. Cashback websites are also a way of sourcing cheaper jewellery as even if you buy some earrings that you could get on the high street for the same price, the advantage is that you get cashback on that purchase thus making it cheaper.
