Great Ways To Discover Florida
There are some great ways to discover Florida from Jacksonville with its beautiful water front on the St Johns River to the crystal clear waters of the Florida Keys. Did you know that Florida's St John River is the only river in the United States that flows north instead of south.
And that just down the road about 35 miles south of Jacksonville is the city of St Augustine with its hundreds of year old city , beautiful beaches , light houses you can explore and ghost walks you can go on. St Augustine is one of America's most beautiful old cities and in St Augustine you will find everything from the old Spanish Fort where Plains Indian Prisoners were held to the Alligator Farm. And if you look around carefully you'll find the Fountain of Youth and Ripple's Believe It Or Not.
You can spend the day at the beach or a day on the local fishing pier fishing or crabbing. There really is something for everyone in St Augustine and just a few miles down the road is world famous Daytona where you can drive on the beach and find all kinds of fun and exciting things to see and do. Have you ever been to northern Florida. Tell us about it in the comments section below.
Orlando Florida
With over 50 million visitors a year Orlando is the undisputed theme park capital of the world. But if you still need more fun and adventure after visiting Disney World , Universal Studios and Sea World you can always travel a few miles down the highway and visit Busch Gardens in Tampa for more theme park fun. And don't forget the Daytona International Speedway and the adventures you and your family can have exploring Everglades National Park. What ever you do take a air boat ride.
And did you know that Cape Canaveral on Florida's Space coast is the only place in North America where people are launched into outer space. The moon missions all left from here. If you can be there for a space shuttle launch it is a experience you or your children will never forget. And world famous Cocoa Beach is right close by with plenty of great hotels , motels , and resorts to stay at. Cocoa Beach is truly one of the most beautiful places in Florida.
And while your down at Busch Gardens don't forget that Busch Gardens has a world class zoo with over 2600 animals on display and roller coaster rides you will never forget. The Zoo at Busch Gardens is supposed to be in the top 5 zoo's in America. So be sure to check it out and take your camera.
If your into diving you want to make sure to visit the historic wrecks just off Pensacola. You won't believe the thousands of colorful fish you will see on a dive on one of the historic wrecks. And the beaches of Pensacola is something you will never forget. There are so many wonderful and beautiful places in Florida that you wouldn't be able to see it all in a lifetime.

Jacksonville and Orlando both have a lot to offer. St Augustine and Key West are my favorite two cities in Florida.
Central Gulf Coast of Florida has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Lido Beach, St. Armands, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island to name just a few. My personal favorite however, are the fresh water springs found in North Central Florida.
