60Discovered on an ancient stone tablet the tale of Jaball's daughters
Now in those days lived a man by the name of Jabaal a righteous man whom the Lord Almighty had blessed with man daughters. It was said of Jabaals daughters that they were the fairest in the entire kingdom. Many men had come with great wealth and offered a great treasures to Jabaal for them as wives but all he refused save men of valor and men who served the Lord most High in Truth. Now the youngest Efrenathi was the most wholesome and beauteous to behold for her manner was sweet and her countance did light up the home which they inhabited. Now of all the men who lived none was more envious then the king of that land Halaja for he beheld on a certain day Efrenathi as she went about her daily work accompanying her mother to the well and to the market for Jabaal was of the opinion that every one who resided in his house would work to earn their daily bread. Now Halaja King of the people of the land of Dols was a greedy and jealous man for he had come by his throne by trickery and believed of himself that he had the right to take what so ever his heart desired thus observing Efrenathi he burned with lust and desired the young woman that been said he was painfully aware of the reputation of Jabaal as the servant of the most high and he dare not by force take the object of his desire for surely he reasoned he would suffer the vengeance of the Lord most high. Thus Halaja devised a plan where the godly man Jabaal would freely give his daughter to the care of Halaja. A most evil plan devised he for he gave orders to the strong men of the land to raid and plunder the vineyards of Jabaal at night and steal away his cattle. Thus the strongmen did according to the words of Halaja and did grievous assault to the property of the righteous Jabaal.
Jabaal upon discovering that all of his cattle and crops had been destroyed and driven off did not take offence but rather bought a sheep and offered thanks to the Almighty for the salvation of his family for Jabaal loved his kin abundantly for he had been taught of the Lord most high that property can be got again but the taking away of ones kin could not be replaced by all the gold that was in the treasure house of the king.
Thereafter Jabaal made sacrifice to the Lord of a lamb which the priests of the city did offer up to the most High.
Halaja was exceedingly angered and tore his robes and would not eat thus he retired to his inner sanctum and bethought of new ways to deprive Jabaal of his most beautiful daughter.
Now devised he the plan a certain evil witness would he pay his weight in gold to testify against Jabaal that he had offended the kings majesty and thereby command that Jabaal should he wish to save his life offer the most prized possession in his home the hand of his daughter.
Thus Jabaal was brought before the courts of the laws of the land and the false witness swore to the truth that on a certain day Jabaal had offended the king’s majesty by swearing upon the name of his fathers that he would never give the hand of his daughter Efrenathi to the king.
Now faced with no other option then to hang from a tree and loose his whole family to be dispersed for ever Jabaal was forced to say that he would gladly give the hand of his daughter Efrenathi to his most gracious majesty thus Jabaal had given up his daughter to the king as the plan was intended. However the Lord Almighty was exceedingly angered by this and caused the king to suffer for from that day until the day of his death he was unable to look upon Efrenathi with fear for the prophet Jezreel visited the capital and standing in a public place revealed the plot and said "Thus saith the Lord God All mighty every time you look upon the daughter of Jabaal oh King Halaja be warned that thy day of death is not far off. Thus said the prophet and departed unto his land thus the king lingered 7 days before he departed thus earthly realm.
