The Disney contemporary resort hotel is only one of three hotels just a monorail ride away from Disney's theme park. This is one of the first hotels built and has just recently under gone renovations.

This amazing hotel is 15 stories tall and has over 655 rooms. Off to one side is a wonderful view of Bay Lake, the other side has a view of Cinderella's Castle.

The Contemporary hotel offers 3 grades of rooms. There is a Standard guest room, the Tower and the Suites. Both the Standard and the Tower can house 5 guests comfortably while the Suite accommodates 3 to 8 quests comfortable. They all offer a balcony or patio.

Each room offers two queen size beds or one king size bed, an ergonomic work station, remote control flat screen TV, high speed internet access. a ceiling fan, telephone with a separate data port, in room safe, bathroom, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

A few things that guests have available include nightly turn down service, a refrigerator, coffee and coffee maker. Within easy access of the room is a choice of 3 restaurants Chef Mickey's, Concourse Steakhouse and California Grill. There are also 2 snack bars and 3 lounges.

Those that exercise on a regular schedule can swim in one of the two swimming pools near the marina or work on a tan by the white sand beach. There are volleyball areas as well as tennis courts. Remember to provide your own equipment. Also an area is provided for runners.

There is a indoor fitness program offered at the Olympic Fitness center that has state of the art fitness equipment and then end it with aromatherapy, deep tissue or Swedish massage.

For guests that enjoy water activities there are Canopy boats, Pontoon boats or Sea Racer. There are also instructors on hand to teach you how to use them for an extra fee.
