I have just started a hub. But I don't know how to write in it. Can anyone tell me how to publish?

The blessings of Competitive Environment

THE BLESSINGS OF COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT

Fortunate are those who find strong opponents in their respective fields, be it educational or business to make the most of their true potential and talents. A competitive environment is indeed a great blessing for all those aspiring to reach the heights of success. A fierce competition between students, colleagues, players and people belonging to different fields always make them active and vigilant and give them much-needed fillip to work harder than ever to outdo and surpass others. It helps them get rid of lethargy and complacency, which is indeed destructive and renders a person inactive, useless and worthless.

Success is a constant process. Attainment of just one target or goal must not affect our spirit and enthusiasm to go in search of greater achievement. We must not lose sight of greater long term gains for the sake of short term gains. Mere basking in past glories will not serve any purpose. Our success is only for the day it is achieved. Tomorrow is the next day and it demands renewed vigor and greater efforts to meet the challenges of fast-paced and jet set world, where we find rat race to get better to best. A competitive environment is what every aspirant of success needs most to further enhance his skills and knowledge. The more we compete, the more we come to know our merits and demerits, our strong and weak points. A man standing on the sea-shore can never get the pearls, but a diver who dives into the ocean may bring his reward in shape of corals and pearls thanks to his efforts and great labor.

We must not blink this fact that a road towards success is dotted with the most tempting parking places. We have to put up stiff resistance to this temptation, which creates impediments and obstacles in our way towards success. It goes without saying that self-contentment in the worldly affairs is praise-worthy and very useful, but, on the other hand,  it is destructive when it comes to seeking knowledge and achieving what we can in our academic career and practical life.  Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet of Pakistan, always tried his best to motivate and inspire young people to work harder than ever and set a high goal and devote all their energies and potential to achieve them. He believed that a death is better than a livelihood which hinders man’s progress and eclipses his potential to reach the acme of success. He called his youth as Falcons and wanted them not to be contented with the little or be self-complacent with small and minor success or achievements.

Some people, despite being multi-talented people having tremendous potential, fail to achieve their desired goals. It is because they lack competitive spirit, confidence, strong will power and determination, above all an urge to be part of a competition to work harder than ever. They avoid competition. Such people take competition negatively, and as a result get more frustrated and depressed than before. They get inferiority complex and start underestimating themselves, to their great detriment and dismay. They hardly realize that their failure in competitive environment is actually a step ahead towards success in time to come.
