Do Blondes Have More Fun?
65 We've all heard it a
million times:
Blondes have more
fun.
Great.
But is
it true?
Can we
honestly say that
the statement about
blondes achieving an
enhanced state of
happiness is an
ironclad scientific
fact?
To do justice
to this thought-
provoking question
we'll need to take a
stroll down memory
lane. If we could
fire up a time
machine and travel
back to the roaring
twenties you would
discover that with
the exception of
chorus girls and
women working in
related professions,
very few women dyed
their hair.
Even if
we decided to kick
the time machine
into passing gear
and fast-forward to
the 1950's, you
would discover that
only 7% of all women
(mainly actresses
and models) colored
their hair.
Nevertheless, a
woman by the name of
Shirley Polykoff was
about to change all
of that.
Blondes
were the 'in thing'
during especially
the 1940's and during
the 1950's it was
Marilyn Monroe,
Jayne Mansfield,
and others that seemed to
take the attention
away from most others.
The
directors gave the
blondes sexier roles
or roles where she
would play 'dumb'
thus, 'dumb blonde.'
Of course this is
not true. It's true
that more men like
to look at blondes
more than dark
haired or redheads.
In the long run
though it doesn't
much matter because
a guy will fall in
love with the
personality of girl
so it really doesn't
matter if she's a
blonde or not.
Most
blondes claim to
have 'blond moments'
and that's their
excuse to have more
fun. Most blondes
known are crazier
and more hyper than
most girls. I'm
blond myself, and
believe me, I am
very hyper at all
times. Blondes don't
always have more
fun. They do only
when they want to,
which happens to be
most of the time.
