My Question To The Guru

I met a guy a few weeks ago that seemed to know everything about cars. Every single question I asked him so far, he came to me with a great answer and often with a "proposition" too. I call him the cars' Guru !

Did Gas Prices Go Down For You ? HA HA HA ...

With the constant rising prices of gas, what we need is not only a fuel saver.. It's a MIRACLE ! And if you live in the U.K., you might need two miracles, because the price of gas there is twice as big as in the U.S.

So I've asked my question to the guru : Do fuel savers work ?

The "guru" could not give me an answer right away. He had to make a lot of researches on different existing methods, like fuel magnets, engine turbines, hydrogen gas savers, fuel saving pills, and many more.

So that's what the "guru" did ! He spent a few hours searching for reviews on every possible fuel saving devices. And as mentioned above, the three devices that people talk the most about are :

- Fuel Saving Magnets

- Fuel Saving Pills

- Hydrogen Gas Savers

But the fact that people are talking about it doesn't mean it is worth paying for it. The point of a fuel saver is to actually keep more money in your pockets, no the inverse.

Fuel Saving Magnets - Do Fuel Savers Work ?

Fuel saving magnets are supposed to align the fuel molecules, resulting in a lower fuel combustion... But the molecules are vibrating at a very high speed, just like all the liquids, and they are in a non stop motion. Even if they were aligned into the magnetic field, they would unalign as soon as the magnet passes over it, so they would be just like normal when they reach the engine.

Most devices using this principle don't admit they are using magnets, because there has been so many negative reviews on similar products that they just don't mention the magnet anymore. So if you see a device that you have to "clamp" to the fuel line, it is certainly a magnetic device.

Why aren't there any experimental results proving that this magnetic field really improves your gas mileage ? It is hard to have credibility if you have no evidence of what you claim. This is why most reviews are negative about these devices.

Do fuel savers work ? Not so far.

Fuel Saving Turbine - Do Fuel Savers Work ?

Fuel saving turbines are also called "vortex generators".

These devices are installed between the air filter and the intake manifold. Usually, they use spinning blades to make the inlet air whirl as a small tornado. This is supposed to mix fuel better with air, which means that the fuel should burn more completely in the combustion chamber.

Even if it is supposed to increase the air flow into the engine, it actually has the opposite effect. The airflow is restricted because of the device. And combined with turbulence, this can only reduce the amount of air coming into the manifold.. and less air means less POWER !

Do fuel savers work ? Still nothing..

This is why this product is not recommended.

Hydrogen Gas Saver - Do Fuel Savers Work ?

My friend first started reading many reviews concerning these products.

Interesting enough, there were many positive comment about these systems. Could this be the MIRACLE we are waiting for ?

I first thought this was a bad idea, because the hydrogen gas saving devices that are ALREADY assembled cost from $700 to $2000, and as I said, we want to SAVE money, not waste some.

But searching deeper helped him find two similar alternative solutions.

It is also possible to buy an instruction guide showing how to build an hydrogen gas saver by yourself. And guess what ? It won't cost $500 ! You should not pay much more than $100 ! Interesting ? Wait, there's more..

Not only is it very inexpensive and it works, but it works VERY well !

Of course, it has to be properly installed, but once you have done that, running your car with water will help you reduce your fuel consumption by up to 40% ! This is significant savings. And there are many people buying these devices every day, so you won't have trouble to find honest reviews about these devices.

Do fuel savers work ? Well, not all of them. But the hydrogen gas saver sure does!

Have we got our miracle here ? I think so.. =)
