Defining Geek (continued)

I suppose I would define GEEK depending on the textual and envoronmental factors surrounding the situation. I believe GEEK has become a compliment in some instances. EXAMPLE: "I have developer that is an excellent graphic designer and a total programming GEEK." This hypothetical was a reality when assembling a team for the development of a rather complicated application. I told the speaker, "THEN LETS BRING HIM ON THE TEAM (referring to the GEEK) as I interpretted the term as conveyed in the above connotation to mean the Programmer GEEK was an absolute pro at what we required. He was a GEEK AS HE HAMMERED OUT SOME OF THE MOST EFFICIENT and effective SCRIPTS I have rarely seen within a one week period. If he was a geek, I LOVE GEEKS. THAT IS MY INTERPRETATION OF THE TERM"S MOODERN DEFINITION
