Kisses come in all shapes and size. Some are brief and business-like, others are prolongedand passionate. Why we kisses or how the habit arose, let take a look following.

A

Animal kiss. Many people believe kissing is exclusive to humans, but this not true. Our closet relatives, the chimpanzees, frequently engage in lip-smacking during courtship and as sign of friendship. The Bonobos or pigmy chimps are very keen on kissing and even engage in tounge in tounge kissing.

B

Bonding kisses. A kiss is nature way of bonding. when lovers kiss, the exchange a substance called sebum, which scientist believe contains pheromones - chemical messenger that identify the partners and arouse them sexually. Sebum production is heavily concentrated on the face, neck and nipples - the places that lovers are most likely to kiss.

Our brains were obviously design for kissing.

D

Disgusting kisses. It's hard to believe some people actually avoid kissing altogether. European explorers in Africa were surprise to find that he Thonga did not engage in sexual kissing because they considered if to be filthy and wondered how people could be so uncivilized as to swallow each other's saliva (spit).

E

English kisses. The French may great at kissing but the English used to be the undisputed champions. The dutch schola, Desiderius Erasmus wrote in 1499, about the full-blooded kisses of the English,

"When you come, you are received with kisses, when you leave you are dismissed with kisses, wherever you move, there is nothing but kisses."

F

French kisses. There's a theory that French kisses invented deep kissing. This is supported by language like English and German where deep kissing is referred to as "French kissing". Also there's French word for deep kissing, "Maraichinage", which refer to the Marachins of Brittany, who had a reputation for being heavy kisses. The real reason why we and the Germans call deep kissing "French kissing" is that we find it embarrassing and would rather pin the blame on someone else. And who better to blame than licentious French?

G

Glasgow kisses. Not a kiss at all. It is what people in Scotland call a head butt.

H

Hungary Kisses. one theory suggest that kissing originated from food transfer between mother and baby. In primitive societies, the mother would chew the food and then transfer it to the baby's mouth. In time mouth-to-mouth contact became associated with love and therefore kissing developed.

I

Intimate kisses. Sex is considered the most intimate expression of love, but lover's kiss is much more intimate than sexual intercourse. Evidence shows that when marriage starts to go wrong the first thing to disappear is kissing.

J

Judas kisses. An act of betrayal, so-called because Judas Iscariot identified Jesus to the romans by kissing him on the cheek.

K

Kiss-my-ass. An insulting invitation that's seldom accepted. In medieval times, it was believed that devil-worshipers paid homage to the devil by kissing his backside. by the 16th century, "kiss mine arse" become an insult. Shakespeare even included a Frenchman called monsieur Basimecu, which is pun on the French baise mon cul, meaning "kiss my arse", in one of his plays. In recent years, the american version, "kiss-my-ass" has become more popular.

L

Long kisses. Some kisses are brief, others exceedingly long. The world record for the longest kissing was held by Eddie Leven and Deiphine Chra, who kissed for 17 days, 10 hours and 30 minutes. More/latest record>>

M

Male kisses. Women often complain that men regard kissing as a mean to an end, rather than an exciting end in itself. But according to the hite report om male sexuality, lots of mean want more kissing in their relationship.

N

Nose kisses. a substitute greeting practiced by the Maoris of New Zealand and groups of Inuit who live in the polar regions. Instead kissing each other on the cheek or the lips, they rub noses.

O

Orgasmic kisses. Some people can reach orgasm by simply kissing. This is not strange because the nerve cells located in genitals are similar to those in the lips. A nerved cell called "krause's and bulbs", which are large and sensitive, are found in great profusion in the penis, clitoris and lips.

P

Private kisses. Is this a must do? There is no such thing. Every time you and your partner kiss, millions of bacteria join in. Beware and avoid! of this kisses. lol

Q

Quiet kisses. Kisses are meant to be quiet but some people give it out loud "mwah! or slurp!" sounds in the hope of appearing enthusiastic. In fact these noises have the opposite effect because they draw attention to the kiss and undermine it. May be suitable for film acting only. Camera roll, action!

R

Repetitive kisses. Alfred Wolfram has the record of kissing he most people - 8001 in 8 hours, which works out to one kiss every 3.6 seconds. More/latest >>

S

Sightless kisses. One of the great mystery is why lovers close their eyes when kissing? The explanation was physiological. Sexual arousal makes the pupils of our eyes dilate, which normally happens when it's dark. This confuses our brain because our eyes react as though it's dark when it isn't. Therefore, it reduces the amount of light entering our eyes, causing us to close them. My opinion, when we close eyes when kissing that, it is more feel and concentration. (Like smelling coffee aroma)

T

Tactical kisses. Politicians think that kissing babies during elections make them seem caring. The reason for this behavior may be found among chimpanzees. When a low-ranking chimp is being chased by higher-ranking chimps, it's not unusual for the retreating animal to pick up a baby chimp, which usually cuts off the attack. Politicians don't realise that when they pick up babies, they're behaving like these lo-ranking chimps, using babies to disarm the electorate.

Good point was politician = chimpanzee.

U

Unforgettable kisses. According to a report, more than 90 percent of the people were interviewed remember their first kiss. Do you?let be honest.

V

Vacuum kisses. Social kisses fall into two categories-"contact kisses", where two people's lips make contact and "vacuum kisses", where the kiss are sign of unease about social kissing, they allow us to go through the motions of kissing without any embarrassment associated with physical contact. Remember "flying kiss".

W

Welsh kisses. Until the beginning of this century, the Welsh only kissed on special occasions, and it was said that a man was likely to divorce his wive if he found her kissing another man, even innocently. Traces of this can be seen in Wales today. Social kissing is not as popular in Wales as it is in England.

X

X'mas kisses. It's believe that kissing under this mistletoe originated as a pagan practice. In fact, people only started kissing under mistletoe about three hundred years ago.

Y

Yielding kisses. People have definite ideas about what makes a good kiss. It should have the right amount of moisture and the lips shouldn't be too hard or too soft. Kisses are at their best when both pairs of lips are yielding.

Z

Zealous kisses. But, of course, it all depends on who you're kissing and where. In the heat of passion, what is needed is eagerness and enthusiasm-really zealous kisses!.
