Do you think the reason why some people hate God ?

When I see someone saying that atheists "hate God" it gets me to
thinking that the speaker is absorbed in a mindset that I am probably
better off not even fully knowing about.
Or sometimes it's phrased as "you just hate God that's your problem."
Oh my.
Again, they are somewhere I am glad not to be, where that is.
I can see the "why not just try to believe" argument(the road to Hell
is paved with good intentions) but to accuse non-theists of "hating
God" is a part of this site's open secret that those who say that are
so wrong, and so abusive, that all we are ever going to do is go our
separate ways and secretly know that we all know it shoots down the
God-argument altogether.
I do not hate God or people who claim to believe in a God. What I hate
is they way theocracy and religious absolutism harms human life and
creates war and other irrationalities.

What I hate is people who invest large portions of their lives to being negative or creating negativity. If you dont believe in God... that is fine, no need to stand up and tell people you hate them for loving and believing in God. People invest too much of their time caring about the person freedoms of others. I could care less if someone was religious or not. Just dont cry about the people who think differently from yourself.
I LOVE GOD and All HIS WORD stands for. I hear where you are coming from.... However many confuse God with the way many practice their choosen religion.

God is beyond religion and his slightest thoughts are to high for the wisest in his creation!

I believe God and Allah are our fathers and we are their children under any name, any color, any religion. God hates war. God's challenge is to love one another - and boy, do we make it hard. God wants his children to love each others - the challenge is today unbearable - history is filled with difficult times. The names of hatred change, the hatred is the same and from the same source.

Organized religon was created to control the masses! Your are so right about all of the death surrounded by religon. But that is a mask.Wars are not caused by religon, they are caused by greed and control issues. Though I am not Christian I do believe that the bible is a piece of history, just as all the other relgious scripts out there. And at the same time it is all written by man, who is fallible in every sense. Morals are morals and as long as you have them then you should be able to live your life the way you want to and not have to hide yourself, or worry about being ridiculed.
