Do you want a good job? Read this
57Most Frequently Questions in an interview
Today is getting very difficult to arrange a job. Specially if is the job of our dreams. It´s necessary to have a good formation, a good Curriculum Vitae, a good apresentation and a good personal marketing. On this last one, is necessary to be prepared to answer to the toughest quastions on an interview.
On this hub i´ll give you the best answers you may give to those questions.
1) Tell me something about you.
This question is very common. You can have a pre-studied answer. Don´t talk about all your life, you must talk only about the most important aspects of your education, professional life and actual situation.
2) Why are you trying to find a job?
This question is not as easy as it seems. Try to tell that you are looking for growing as a person and profissionally. Don´t say you are only trying to win more money. If you were fired from the previous job you need to have a good explanation.
3) Teel me what you know about this company.
Do your homework. Try to know everything about the company. Make a search on the internet so you can shine on this question, showing you are prepared and really interested in the job and the company.
4) Why do you want to work here?
If you did your homework to the last question, you know the company, so you know why you want to work there. Think about this question before you go to the interview. Say what your goals are and how the company will hekp you to achieve them.
5) Do you have any relevant experience?
Here will be good if you have done the job previously so you may say that you can do the tasks for this job, because you are a big experience doing them. However, if you are only trying to do something different from what you have always done, or if you don´t have experience for this job try to show that somthing that you´ve done is very usefull for the job, even if it´s not the same work. For example, if you was a salesman, but the job is a purchasing offer, you may say that this jobs are very similar and you´ve learned how the salesmen think, so you´ll be more prepared to negotiate with them being a purchasing man.
6) What your previous bosses say about you?
For this question, it´s better if you "only remember" the good things they told about you.
7) Have you done something to improve your formation?
Here you must show dedication. Tell all the things you´ve done to improve your formation on the area of this job.
8) Did you apply for other jobs?
Show you are available but don´t appear to be offering to all the companys. You may tell what kind of jobs are you applying and one or two companys you already applied.
9) How do you work with pressure?
Never say you don´t like pressure. You may say that you grow with pressure or simply you like to work with pressure but if you say you don´t like it will turn more difficult for you to get the job.
10) What motivates you to do a good job?
Even if the answer to this question is MONEY, please don´t say so. It would cause a bad impression of you. Try to think if isn´t better for you some answers like the recognizement you´ll have, or maybe you want to work better each day, for example.
11) What is your best quality?
Choose your really best quality, related with the job and say it. You may say for example that you are an excellent motivator, excellent working on a team, or you have a good perception of details.
12) What is your worst defect?
Defects? What is it? You can´t say you don´t have any defects. But maybe it´s better not to be completely honest. Choose a minor defect you have but always saying that you are already trying to change yourself on that aspect.
13) How much do you want to receive for this job?
It´s always better trying not to be the first telling this. Try to win some time, so the interviewer say this first. You should try to know for that job how much the companys are paying and you may say you think you should win between X.XXX€ and Y.YYY€. Unless you already know how much you want to win and in that case you may say that for this job you should win X.XX€.
14) Are you a good team worker?
You can only answer YES!!! Try to say how good you work in team, showing you are a good leader.
15) Tell me something implemented by your suggestion.
Here you must be prepared to tell something you suggested on a previous company, that has been implemented and really worked. Don´t say nothing that hasn´t been implemented nor something implemented but sent the company to bankrupcy.
16) Tell me about some problems you had with your superiors.
Problems with superiors? Never!!! The interviewer are trying to see what you say about your superiors. Never say bad things about them. Say that you never had problems with them.
17) What do you prefer? That people like you or that people fear you?
You should say "I prefer to be respected". In work you can´t be friend of everyone but also isn´t with fearing the persons that you can motivate them.
18) Did you put the company interests before your own?
The best answer to this is yes. You like very much your family but between doing some extra hours and watch your children in a football game is better if you choose the first option or the company won´t offer you the job.
19) Why should i hire you?
Don´t say "Because i really need a job". Focus on your best qualities related to the job.
20) Do you have something to ask me?
This question is made in almost all interviews. Try to have some questions to ask. You may ask for example "When can i start to work? If i´m hired of course!"
And this are 20 of the most asked questions on interviews.
I hope this is usefull for you that have read this hub.

This is great! You really hit all of the typical interview questions. One thing I was told about the "defect" question was to say something that has positive aspects to it; for instance, being a perfectionist can be an admitted "defect" because it also implies that you care about your work, or maybe taking the lead too often, etc.
