I really love this stuff and I wanted to do a review of it. (I know the picture says Cortisol, but that's the only picture I could find online. I use the Hoodia product not the Cortisol, but the bottle looks identical it just says Hoodia.)

Weigt Loss

Okay, I don't want to actually name the other products, because I don't have anything good to say about them.  Other Hoodia products I tried gave me very painful stomach cramps.  Some of them made me jittery, and made my heart beat funny, so I immediately discontinued them. 

So, I have always been "thick".  I've always been a tomboy and very active, you know, basketball, softball, out doorsy, you know.  Then I started working in Corporate America, then I had a very big baby, and since then have really battled weight.  I love, love, love, to eat. Do you hear me? I love it.  So that doesn't help. In fact nothing contains my appetite, nothing.  I just have to use constraint, which is not always easy. 

So, I reached a point where I was 102 pounds over my idea body weight, and stress, MY IDEA body weight.  I made a decision that I had to make changes as I will be turning 40 years old this year and I've heard it gets even harder to lose weight after 40 for a woman. 

So, that is why I am now on a journey to lose 100 pounds of fat.  I have given myself 2 years because I want to lose the weight, safely, and make sure to keep it off.  All this extra weight did not come on at once, so I don't expect to lose it over night either.

If you don't want to watch the above video. So, back in September of 2008, it was recommended to my husband. We shop at Costco and that is where I buy it.  My husband decided not to use it because it seemed to make his blood pressure go up.  But I don't like to waste money so I thought I would try it.  I was very happy.  I like this product so much I wanted to sell it, but they don't have a program like that available. 

This product has sooo many good things in it. It is high in Fiber which helps you feel fill and makes you regular which is good for overall health.  It has natural herbs, antioxidants, green tea, and pomegranate.  It doesn't taste good to me, so I drink it in grape juice.  It doesn't make me jittery, even if I take the recommended 2 ounces daily.  I usually only take 1 ounce just because I forget to take the 2nd ounce.  I really do feel like I have more energy and can focus better when I take this.  And that is a very good thing.  They don't advertise that it improves focus, that is just one thing I noticed as an added benefit.

Honestly, I don't know. In the beginning when I first started taking this, I can't say that I noticed anything. Except I feel warmer, but that might just be hot flashes as I am almost 40 years old, lol. And, I didn't really start my weight loss plan until January. But, with that being said, when the 1st bottle ran out, I did purchase another, and I still use it today.

Now, it has taken me 4 months to lose 18 pounds, while taking the Body Choice Hoodia. To me 18 pounds in 4 months is too slow. But apparently that is "healthy weight loss." But in defense I will say, I forgot about my boys' birthdays, my wedding anniversary and Valentine's day, all excuses to over eat! lol. So, in March, I made added effort to exercise and eat less, and better food. I have set a goal to lose about 3.5 pounds every 2 weeks.

So, I don't want to say the Body Choice Hoodia doesn't aid my weight loss, but I am happy to take it, and I only take 1 ounce daily, and the recommended dose is 2 ounces daily. So, maybe if I took it twice I would see faster weight loss, who knows?
