The following contains thoughts that run through my mind. It is not intended to hurt anyone, but are just my views which could be wrong. Your views and answers and comments can be helpful.

Since this is written as it comes to my mind the content may not very ordered, but based on stream of thoughts......

Does God really exist?

This is something which I keep thinking again and again!

There are lots of reasons to believe God exists and some questions for which I do not know the answer gives me some doubts on the existence of God or if God can do certain things or not.

If God exists why are people suffering ?

One of the common reasons given is because of the crime they committed in the previous birth. They have to suffer this birth.

Then I start wondering why could not God stop them from committing crime in the previous birth itself? If God is all powerful, then God could have "programmed" the person to prevent him from doing the crime !

This means that either God is not all that powerful or that God is not permitted to do so...

The explanation I think is like this....

Consider a 5-year-old boy who is playing football... The father is standing outside and watching him play football with other children who are of the same age.. The boy is struggling to make a goal... However, the father who is standing outside could easily put a goal as all others are small kids... but the father does not... why?

Because it is not fair! If the father plays instead of the boy, the boy cannot enjoy the game!

Well.... the same explanation seems to be right for God not interfering.

You cannot enjoy the game of life if God interferes and it would not be fair.

Another thought..........

Sometimes I feel the life we lead is what we have chosen before coming to birth. It is not given by God forcebly, but it is the role chosen by us.

Sometimes I compare it to the roles in the film. In films people act as hero or villain, but in real life they may not be having the character shown in the film. A good man takes up a bad role and acts it out.

Sometimes i feel we (our soul) pick the role and act it out in the real world. We then all go back unhurt.

Meaning... when a person is murdered in a film... actually he is not hurt... the same way when a person is murdered in real life ... his soul is not hurt......

guys... are you going nuts reading my thinking.... well.... i am just trying to find explanations on why things are the way they are and why God is not interfering when crime takes place.

The point is.... in real life... I see so many good people suffering everyday. I wonder why God is not helping them. I have had God help me so many times. Miracles have happened many times. Then there are things which question why certain things happen if God is there ?

Then there is one more assumption...

Suppose you were given your telephone bill on the first of the month and the last date to pay the bill is 10th of the month, would you agree if your telephone line is cut any day before the last date for payment?

You will say that you would have paid before the last date. So how can you cut my telephone line. I still had time to pay the bill.

Similarly when someone is asked why did you do wrong? The explanation is that there is still time to set things right... "I need time !"

So what I think is... God has given 1 lifetime for each person so that he does not say I would have set it right if I had more time...... At the end of life time.... calculations are made.... how much good is done and how much bad is done...... If a person has done good, he is sent to earth with good will or may be sent to heaven once his role is completed. If a person is done lot of wrong then... he is sent to earth with that role or when he is has reached maximum evil, he is sent to hell.......

These are my explanation and assumptions because I just cannot understand why good people suffer !
