Survey of sorts - Do you surf the Internet on your mobile phone or cell phone?

Maybe it's because the "iPhone" that has made it so super easy to surf the regular version of a website that has made us all feel that it makes little sense to have some stripped down, low grade version for low-bandwidth mobile applications?

This is a survey of sorts which will be going on a website (just as a pie chart type thing) - totally anonymous of course.

We would like to know your favorite cellular - mobile device / phone and which service for internet usage you would choose or have chosen and a breif description of why; not for any other purpose but surfing (not minutes, text messaging; the phones reception when it comes to making calls; calling range -- just strictly for usage on the web.

I would also totally appreciate a brief description on the direction which you'd like to see on further evolution - features, etc....

Remember - Please be sure you post your comments on these 3 items. (Also, just so you know, this is NOT for a commercial venture; it is for our own personal study as that is what we/I am *into* - cellular!)

#1 - The cell phone / mobile phone model you have (or want) and why you would choose it.

#2 - The carrier you chose (or would choose) and why?

#3 - Any specific requests for improvements that you feel would enhance the internet mobile phone marriage technology more useful and why.

#4 - future evolution(s) - such as ease of use...I feel this is big (who likes to read 25 pages on how your gizmo works?) Not me!

We now have more possibilities with products to chose from offering us more variety of things to go with their systems, but the thing is; we really only use a few of them because we don't have time or interest on the learning curve!

Thanks a whole lot in advance!

Melanie

10 signs you are a cell phone addict :}

Cute!

From:

10) You read the Tech News daily in hopes that Bluetooth implants will soon be available.

9) You name your phones and bury them in your own little cell phone graveyard when they die.

8) You plan your driving routes, where you live and where your work around dead spots.

7) Your first question on a first date is, "Who is your cell phone provider?" Depending on the answer, there may or may not be a second date.

6) You can send a text message behind your back with your left hand while taking a geometry test with 98.7% accuracy....and still get a B+ on the test.

5) You occasionally hear your phone ringing even when it isn't (also known as phantom ringing).

4) When you leave your cell phone at home, it's a major emergency that requires you to turn around and endure an hour of extra rush hour traffic to retrieve it.

3) You think that ringback tones are "dope" and are willing to spend money for someone else's listening pleasure.

2) You answer the phone while in the restroom and then pull your sleeve over the phone to buffer the ‘bathroom echo' that occurs while talking in the restroom. (ME: You TOTALLY *wait* to flush.)

1) You just asked yourself, "does pulling your sleeve over the phone really work?" (ME: I don't really *get* this oe???? Someone who IS a cell phone addict 'splain it to me please?)
