Ramona the Pug and Oscar the Weimaraner have been friends for a long time. This past Friday they decided to take their Mommies down to the river for a day of play.

'We waded across the river to a little island of sand. You could dig ANYWHERE you want! My ball kept going into sand holes, so of course I had to dig it out!" -Oscar

" Sometimes Ramona ges in the way of my dirt. Its not my fault - I can't see behind me!" - Oscar

Oscar ran for hours in and out of the water after his ball. Oscar will stop at nothing to get his ball.

Ramona hung out most at the water's edge. Even though she can swim, Ramona prefers to go no further than her ankles.

On the hike back out to the car we stopped for some more ball throwing. Here is Oscar catching.
