1. Put your puppy in a crate at night, dogs don't like to go to the bathroom where they sleep

2. Take your puppy outside first thing in the morning

3. Give your puppy a treat each time it successfully goes outside

4. Try going to the same spot outside each time, that way your puppy knows that is it's territory

5. Take your puppy out every few hours, if you are not home then leave him in a crate, or closed off room to avoid unwanted messes all over the house

6. Get puppy pads and try training on those first, then move the puppy pad outside or closer to the door each time.
